A satisfied course. It has good placements.
Placements: 90% of students in my course were placed in jobs. The highest salary package was Rs. 50,000 per month, the lowest was Rs. 20,000 per month, and the average salary package was Rs. 30,000 per month. The companies that recruited students from my course were Shenglong Pvt. Limited and Avanti Pvt. Limited. All students in my course were placed in internships. The internships were in the following areas: fish farm manager, feed company marketing manager, and quality control.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the faculty is very supportive. The classrooms and labs are well-equipped. The college has a good library and Wi-Fi. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, and medical facilities are available in the hostel. The college has a basketball court and football ground. The college canteen provides good quality food.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good, and the teachers are helpful to students. The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and they make sure that the students are industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy if you study well. The pass percentage is 99.9%.
Other: I like fishes, so I chose fisheries science as my course of study. I would like to know if the university offers any scholarships and extracurricular activities that I could participate in.

Our college is good for a professional degree program.
Placements: The lowest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month and the highest salary offered was 1 lac per month. C.P., KVK, AquaConnect and Salem Microbes are the companies which visit the campus for recruitment. Roles offered are as assistant director, director of fisheries, Inspector of fisheries, general manager and assistant manager. In our course, the lowest salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month and the highest salary offered was 1.5 LPA. Almost 100% of students get internships and C.P. Company was the major one.
Infrastructure: Our college is an environmental free campus. There are labs for microbiology, aquaculture, processing, aquaculture engineering, aquatic animal health management and extension. All labs are having every facility like machinery, chemicals, etc. Classrooms are smart classroom system for PowerPoint presentation and CCTV. The library has enough book with an air-conditioned environment. Computer labs are also available with an air-conditioned environment. The entire campus is enabled Wi-Fi. Hostels are also environmental free, and it has 3 floors with the mess. Mess is under students, and the weekly menu is decided by students. The food served is quite good. There is no canteen available on campus. In sports, we have ground for football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, shuttle, and also athletic. We conduct sports events in college functions, and inter-college competitions like Ponfima and Kurukshetra are also organised. Many students are selected yearly for All India Agri Meet from our campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are all qualified graduates. Almost 90% of teachers are PhD scholars, and they completed their studies from both abroad and motherland. Every teacher has their knowledge in the fisheries sector in both theoretical and also practical. Around 90% of teachers have extraordinary teaching skills. The course curriculum is relevant and has 4years with 8 semesters. Six semesters are covered with theoretical and practical classes and field visits. There are 8 departments on our campus, and each department has its subjects with the syllabus. The last 2 semesters include skill development programme by our teacher and guest lectures and in-plant programme and education learning programs All India tour is also conducted in the seventh semester. Exams are conducted by our university, which is Dr J. Jayalalitha Fisheries University TamilNadu.
Other: I opted for the course because it is a professional course. The best thing about the course is that there a low number of students passing out yearly, i.e., around 150 students in TamilNadu. Campus interview and jobs offered should be improved. Events such as hostel day, college day, inaugural function, Ponfima, Kurukshetra, fish fest, etc., are held on campus. Campus crowd consist of about 250 students, 25 staff members, and there would be 25 workers. Connectivity to the college can be through trains to Chennai central for every 25 minutes and a bus to red hills. The campus is surrounded with railways station at the back and with a government hospital on the right side. Bus stand about 1 km away from college. Scholarships are given for UG, and caste-based scholarships are also provided. Even hostellers can apply for scholarships. For PG, a stipend is given by ICAR. Extracurricular activities such as national meet, inter-college competitions, dancing, singing, ad-zap, etc., are held on campus.

Placement is nothing matters if you work hard & study .
Placements: There are around 400 students in our college the lowest salary package means rs 5000 per month Average salary package means rs 35,000per month the highest salary package means rs 7 Lacs per month Apart from assistant professor there are so many options are there but there is so Competitive.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for our college but the lab arrangements are perfect with many modern equipment and the library contains so many books with all editions I love library when I'm feeling down I go to the library and read books In canteen many snacks are available Medical things are kept in hostel for emergency Daily morning we wake up and go to ground to play it's compulsory.
Faculty: Teachers are very young and they teach very well only thing they focus is conceptual semesters exams are easy - medium not difficult If we understand the concepts nothing is difficult to study Then for internal exam pass mark is 40 out of 80 For practical pass mark is 25 out of 50 .
Other: This course is different from other course so I choose it I love marine environment To improve job opportunity Scholarship is available for all category students.
