Review of Tamil Nadu National Law University.
Placements: There has been a rise in placements in the previous few years. Students joined tier-one law firms such as AZB, SAM, and Trilegal. Further, the college focuses on developing industry-based knowledge. The placement committee is working hard to provide internships. Students have received offers from firms such as JSA, LKS, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. All the necessary facilities are available. Classrooms have air conditioners and projectors. The library has a wide variety of books. The university provides remote access to judgement books. There is an air-conditioned common room. The mess food is decent. However, the quality of water in the girls' hostel is not that great.
Faculty: Some faculty members are friendly, and some are strict. Exams are primarily focused on problem-solving questions as one would expect from an NLU. The curriculum can be regarded as being divided equally among assignments and exams.
Other: B.A. LL.B. is better than B.Com because I believe that the subjects in B.A. complement the subjects of law. You can take B.Com. if you want.

Review of NLU Trichy - Tamil Nadu National Law University.
Placements: The Internships and Placement Committee (IPC) at TNNLU is working hard to liaise with top-tier firms and law chambers. Several students got been placed in top-tier firms given the link bases set up by the IPC. Students of batch 2019 and 2020 have been placed in firms like SAM, Trilegal, Surana & Surana, among others. Some are pursuing judicial clerkships under lordships at the SC as well, and several are doing their LL.M at top colleges in India and abroad.
Infrastructure: We have residential hostels with double/triple occupancy, based on availability. The hostels have in-house airconditioners and fully equipped gyms. The mess serves North Indian and South Indian cuisines and is managed by a student-run mess committee, which is responsible for maintaining standards. The hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi. The library is one of the best in the country and is equipped with several resources like remote access and research databases like SCC Online, Manupatra, JSTOR, etc. The campus also hosts a state-of-the-art basketball court, indoor badminton court, table tennis infrastructure, a volleyball court, and a football field.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Being a residential program, students can reach out to the faculty at any given point in time. The course curriculum is designed to ensure that practicality is given utmost importance, and the faculty takes a step further to ensure the same. To pass, a student must attain 51%, and the pattern is broken down into a combination of project papers, viva, internal examinations, and the pen-paper test.

Why TNNLU? A brutally honest review by a Student
Placements: Placements are really very average, to be honest it's more like you are getting placements yourself. But for us a new system is being implemented which involves consent based assured placements. There is no lower limit or higher limit for salary package but we have firms like trilegal, LKS and Shardul Amachand Mangaldas recruiting from our university. So around three students get placed in each of these firms. The number really depends on the firm.
Infrastructure: There is no hospital nearby, the nearest hospital is 7km away from the University. But they have an ambulance, a duty doctor and 2 residential nurses for first aid. The sports and games facilities are really good for a 12 year old university. We have volleyball, throwball and football grounds and an indoor badminton court. As for the food and the mess it runs on an yearly tender based system and the quality is very much on par this year. Wifi is good both in the campus and the library but is pretty bad at the hostels.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them come from really good higher education institutions whose qualities are impeccable. The course curriculum offered at the university is research oriented mostly, even though it doesn't equip one for the practicality, but it does impart enough knowledge to the students which in turn enable them to fond solutions by themselves. The semester exams are conducted in a twofold manner with one mid semester examination and the end semester examination the pass percentage is over 95 percent.

One of the best available Institutions departing legal education in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Placements: 1) Around 6.25% of students had got placed in campus interview for the past academic year. 2) the lowest salary offered: 20000 Average salary offered:35000 The highest salary offered:65000. 3) Banking corporations such as Indian Overseas and Punjab National Bank. There were a few other Law Firms (not companies) who were recruiting advocates. 4) roles as Legal Advisers and Litigation Lawyers for law firms were offered. 5) the lowest Package offered: 15000. The highest package offered:70000, Average package offered:30000. 6) Almost 90% of students got internships under lawyers in High Courts and the Supreme Court. A very few students who prefer or interested in Company laws apply for internships in several corporations such as Infosys, Mahindara & Mahindra, Indian Overseas, etc.
Infrastructure: 1) Academic infrastructure: Well established Air conditioned Library, Air conditioned Smart Classrooms, Free subscription to several online Legal Resources websites, Full campus Wi-Fi connectivity, Moot court halls, Computers provided in the library for use by all students. Other infrastructure: Indoor Badminton statium, football feild, basketball court, Auditorium, Boys and Girls Hostels (seperate for both Boys and Girls), Canteen, Hostel Mess, Air-conditioned Gymnasium, Indoor sports equipments, etc. 2) The quality of food is moderate. Quality of water is good. Quality of canteen is moderate. Cleanliness is bad and results in mosquito breeding grounds which has been completely neglected by the administration. Quality of sports equipments is also moderate and suffers from lack of certain equipments at times.
Faculty: 1) The Teachers are well-qualified except a few who have really bad communication skills in English resulting in poor quality of lectures. All the teachers back in college after classes for assisting and helping the students. 2) The course curriculum is advanced and will equip the students for the future industry.
Other: 1) I personally passionate in pursuing a Law degree and due to my interest in social sciences I chose to pursue B.A. LL.B. The best thing about this course is that it prepares the lawyer to view the problems of society in a social sciences and law based perspective. 2) It would be better if economics and history papers were dealt in detail or the addition of one or two extra subject papers on history and economics. 3)Inception, Exception, Vivatham, Kratos are several events conducted. The campus surroundings is barren due to the natural climatic conditions of the Trichy district. Hot and dry climate can be experience most of the year. Debate, Moot, Arbitration are several of the extracurricular activities.

TNNLS- A 100-cr investment bearing sweet fruits now.
Placements: Placements can't be commented on as of now because the first batch will pass out in 2018. But the placement committee has been working really hard to ensure good placements. It is being headed by a permanent faculty member who has the expertise in managing stuff.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a criterion which will be on top of this university. There are perfectly built hostels and all other necessary buildings with a humongous library and well-equipped classrooms. There is 24*7 unlimited Wi-Fi around the campus. All other basic amenities are there.
Faculty: All prescribed bar council subjects are included. The syllabus is updated regularly. The academic council is working really hard to ensure the same. The permanent faculty members who have been recruited are par excellence.
