Q:   Can I join Techno India University without JEE Main?

A: 

No, to get admission in Techno India you have to Clear WBJEE or Jee Mains with Good rank depending upon which stream you are interested in.

Few seats are available for JEE (main) ranks (10% of the total seats).You need to appear for the WBJEE counselling and choose your college in the choice list using both JEE (main) and WBJEE ranks or simply using JEE (Main) in order to get admision through JEE main rank.You may get CSE /ECE/IT in TISL if your ranking is somewhat less than 70k.If you are getting core branches like Mechanical or civil please don’t join this college!

Alternatively, you can apply for counselling in many other states.States like Gujrat, MP, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, all consider Jee (mains) rank for admission into their technical colleges now.

Techno India University review.
Placements: Placement percentage is very low in our course which is one of the biggest problems of this college. Many selective companies come for placements and hire lower number of people. I would recommend giving students best from the start, if they want college placements or they can always go for other companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great. We have huge classrooms which are fully air-conditioned. The washrooms are also clean. College has three canteens and two grounds. There are all necessary labs fully advanced and equipped. I like the infrastructure a lot and it is worth it.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. They are hardworking, helpful, skilled, and most importantly understand our problems. For the exams, we have two IA which is IA2 and IA2 both are online-based MCQ tests of 20 marks each, and at the end of the semester, and ESA of 70 marks.

Terrible placements and faculty but everything else is better.
Placements: Placements are terrible in our course at our university; not many get placements. Most of the students have to look for placements by themselves. The average package of our department is 250,000, and the highest is 300,000. The top recruiting company for our course is Mankind Pharma, which is one of the only companies. Internships provided by the university are non-existent, and students here too have to look for internships by themselves. Most students here go for their own business or marketing roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the only good things about this college. It has every necessary infrastructure and equipment for the department studies and has Wi-Fi access labs for all subjects, libraries, and every necessary facility. Hostels are not provided by the university during admissions; they will provide their hostel partners so the students can opt for it as they wish. Basic living conditions are usually provided; their food is usually terrible.
Faculty: Teachers are not that experienced and are qualified but teach terribly. They are not that useful; they just go by their flow and don't teach anything extra, so teaching quality is very poor with almost all the faculty members. The course curriculum is relevant and up to the required standards, and if teachers are better, it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult depending on the preparation the students have taken and can be tough if not prepared.
Other: The course is excellent because it has a huge demand in the country right now, and jobs are available for this course, unlike other courses out there. The best part is everything you learn can be applied to your daily life. Things such as placements and faculty could have been improved a lot; there are events every other day, and the college year calendar is filled with events. Scholarships are available depending on the academic performance of the students.

Genuine review of Techno India University.
Placements: A minimum of 90% of students are placed from college placement, and the rest are placed from off-campus. Top recruiting companies are like Google, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc. I don't know about the roles offered. A minimum of 70% of students get internship offers from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are many Wi-Fi connections for students for several types of study purposes. There are modern machines in labs, and the hostel facility is also good. They provide healthy and hot meals three times a day. There happen a few games like cricket league, football league, and PC and mobile game tournaments.
Faculty: There are many teachers who are all well-educated and have good connections with students. The teachers teach well. If any student attends the class, they don't have any doubt about the topic that was discussed in the class. Exams happen in a very difficult mode; no student can cheat in the exams. The passing mark is 45 out of 100.

Techno India University is the best college.
Placements: Many students are doing the BBA honours course. Through this, the average package offered to students is 5-6 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, IDFC Bank, PwC, etc. Top roles offered through my BBA course are in the management field.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. There are good facilities with a library, labs, and the availability of Wi-Fi on each floor. Good healthy food is available in the mess and canteen of Techno India University. There are also good medical facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and familiar with their students. Their teaching quality is outstanding, and they are helpful to the students. Yes, the university makes the students industry-ready. For semester exams, the exams are a little tough, and the pass percentage is good, with 80-90%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to do management (MBA) in the future, and BBA is the best field for pursuing an MBA in the future for higher studies. The college campus and surroundings are very good, and events and extracurricular activities happen every 1-2 days.

Think twice before taking admission.
Placements: TIU's college placement rate for law careers is low, but about 50% of students were placed in good companies. My college also provides internships, and the top recruiters are TCS and Wipro. Most students go to court to practice law.
Infrastructure: There is no permanent campus. However, they do have Wi-Fi, labs, and well-furnished classrooms. The library is nice and has a good collection of books. There are no hostels on campus, but there is a turf on the upper floors that is really enjoyable.
Faculty: The faculty members are well educated, professional, and knowledgeable, and their teaching qualities are really good. The course curriculum is very relevant. The semester exams are not too hard. If we study, we can easily pass the internal exams as well as the semester exams.
Other: Don't expect too much from this college.

Techno India University, Kolkata offers UG, PG and PhD courses in the field of Engineering, Commerce, Science, Management, and Humanities & Law. Admissions to most of the UG and PG courses are based on the Techno Joint Entrance Exam (TNJEE) conducted by the university. However, the university also accepts scores of National/State-level exam: JEE Main, WBJEE for BE/BTech courses, NATA for B.Arch, WBJEE ANM & GNM exam for GNM course, CLAT for Law Courses, GATE exam for ME/MTech courses, and CAT/MAT scores for MBA/PGDM courses. Admissions to PhD programs are based on UGC NET/ GATE exams. Admissions to remaining courses are based on the academic merit of the candidate.

Q:   What are the language proficiency requirements for applicants who wish to study in a language other than English at Techno India University?

A: 

Candidates with a degree obtained in a language other than English are required to have a current IELTS or TOEFL score. An foreign or NRI student must enrol in Techno India University's English Language Foundation Course if they don't take the proficiency exam or don't receive the required results. Depending on how well they perform on their proficiency exam, this course may last three or six months. This course costs are extra to the regular programme fees.
