They are not that useful; they just go by their flow and don't teach anything extra, so teaching quality is very poor with almost all the faculty members. The course curriculum is relevant and up to the required standards, and if teachers are better, it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult depending on the preparation the students have taken and can be tough if not prepared.
