OveralI, I will give 3 stars for the college.

Placements: Some streams get good placements but not for everyone. Many big companies come in the placement day like Amazon, IBM etc. Among my seniors someone had got a job on Amazon one year back. B.Tech students also get placements well. We haven't got placement till now hope to get it soon.

This is a budget-friendly university with a lot of facilities.

Placements: The placement status of the college is really good. Almost every tech giant company comes here for the placement. Our college also allows different colleges of Techno India group (only the selected ones in merit list) to participate in the placement exam. Last year, the highest package was offered by Microsoft.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements, infrastructure and the high fee structure.

Placements: The placements are average which depends on the specialisation of the students. The best thing to do is marketing and finance, but the scope of the business analytics is poor. In case of the engineering background, hopefully, they provide good placements, but in case of the management, in Techno India University, it is poor. The core companies don't come for recruitment during our time. I don't know enough in the field of marketing and finance regarding placements, but in business analytics, it'...

I am dissatisfied because of lack of the faculty members.

Placements: The placement is good for CSE and ECE. In this year, more than 50 students are placed. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. MNC companies and Pan India visited the campus. More than 20% of the students got an internship through this college. Here, there is also a placement cell.

B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering.

Placements: The placements are done here but not in huge number. We electronics and communication students have the opportunity to sit for some companies but not for more. We have heard from our seniors that few companies come here. We are hoping for the best for our turn.

Good placements, infrastructure, and faculty

Placements: The placements are promising for the cream students. But mediocre students will fail to get jobs in good companies. TCS is out of the picture as the college is quite new. Many MNCs like IBM, Adobe, Uber, Amazon, etc. come for campusing, but take only a handful of students.

It is not worth paying Rs. 85K per semester. They promise placements but never fulfill.

Placements: We are the first batch of the university so we are not expecting much from the college. Although in other colleges they help the students to get the internships, most of our students had to find their internships on their own. The placements in other departments are not that bad.

Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: Overall, it is good. Management has assured us about 90% placements. But, sometimes they don't do what they have promised. Strikes also happened about this topic by the final year students, and meetings were also organised to solve the situation. But the dissatisfaction could not be cleared. This is not assured information. But I have heard this news from our seniors who have suffered from these problems.

It is growing to be one of the best university in India.

Placements: The placements are very good compared to all the other private institutions present in Kolkata. Nearly about 32+ companies visited the campus, and every stream is getting the same amount of chances to grab the job opportunities. Microsoft and Navy also visited the college. The average package offered is 4.20 lac per annum.

The college has a bad placements, good curriculum and faculties, good classrooms, but bad labs.

Placements: To be honest, the placements for the senior batch was horrible. Being a good student I can say that the college is not bringing any good companies and whatever they are bringing is taking hardly 10 students from the whole college. As of now, hardly 12% of the students got placed. Some of them have also been placed in the fake companies of the mechanical batch. Also, fake company may also come as a mass recruiter.

The faculty of the college are good.

Placements: No batches have yet passed out from this institution. Hope we get great placements. In architecture, you have to create your portfolio and present it to different companies. The college suggests you the best companies available. It depends on your capability and hard work.

Dissatisfied because of the placement.

Placements: The placements offered in the college is a myth, especially for the civil and mechanical engineering students. They just provide a new startups for the campus placements. They don't bother to provide the placements in the core companies for civil engineering students. If you complain about this, they will neglect. They won't request the companies to visit the campus for the recruitment.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, good placements in every year and really good college.

Placements: The placements are good. The students were capable of getting selected for the campus placements. The college provides good placement faculty. Many students were placed in the last ten years. This college is a well-reputed college in salt lake. The faculty were very active in every placement task. There were many teachers who work hard to get the students placed.

This is the present situation of our prestigious Techno India University.

Placements: Not much, around 20-30 people from all the stream got the job in total. As we all know the present situation of every engineering college in West Bengal, our university has no difference. All our scores are above 7 GPA. But still, we are not getting any jobs because of lack of campusing. Techno India is using our college as the 'Job hub' for all the colleges under its group thus, making the competition tough.

A good university but needs a good infrastructure and better teachers, leading to better placements

Placements: Placement in any college depends on an individual's capability and a good knowledge of his subject. Techno India University offers a placement package of 3-5 lakhs per annum. Besides, there are students who have received good placements of 8-9 lakhs and 12 lakhs as well. Above that, one can go for off-campus or motivate the hiring company to increase one's package, and again, one's capability would do that surely.

Good faculty but bad management.

Placements: More than 50% students get placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro and Directi visit the campus. The salary ranges from 2.4 LPA to 14 LPA (all though there are exceptions too). Roles offered vary from company to company and the branch of the candidate. The average salary is 3.6 LPA. Overall, the placement scenario is good. The biotech stream is the best that the institute offers. Core branch students have to struggle a bit more than the non-core branch students for placements. ...

No memory to celebrate your college life. Overall, it was pathetic.

Placements: Placements were zero in number as we were the first batch, though I cracked it anyhow, that too in the sales job which was quite a field work. So initially, we had to reject it other students are still unemployed now. Companies that came were mostly fake and demanded money from the students. Other companies which came were Wipro and BPS. TCS came and that too not for our college but took students from the main campus. Overall, money and years were wasted. ...

Somehow satisfied but placement was not good for core branches.

Placements: Since the last 3 years placements have been average in my college. All the students are facing problems regarding placement. In core branches, only 5-10 students were selected out of 90-120 students. The basic salary offered by the companies is 3.2-3.5 lacs p.a. But for BCA and BBA students, the placement was good.
