It is a good institute in this region with the best campus life.

Placements: Placements in our college are not par compared to the universities in our region. Hopefully, the placement cell will do a better job in the coming years. The first batch of our department will be passed out this summer. But, only a few students have been placed in one of the top accounting firms of India.

Infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: Many campus placement drives were held here, but since the majority of the students opt for PhDs, only a few students go for jobs. Some students got placed in companies with a decent salary package. However, more companies should be summoned to hold good placement records.

It is a good university for graduation or post graduation.

Placements: The packages offered to the placed students were below average. You have to be really bright to get placed in a good company.

Facilities provided are good, but the faculty who are pursuing their PhDs are not good.

Placements: The university does not provide any placement opportunities for the students of the B. Voc department. We don't have any placement cell. However, most of the students get internships in good companies, but the companies do not provide any stipend for us. It's mandatory for the students of the B.Voc department to do internships after the completion of each semester. However, we do internships only for 15 days.

I'm satisfied with the curriculum, but dissatisfied with our department.

Placements: The central placement cell of the university has not given any preference to the students of the B.Voc. department until now. B.Voc students were not included in any placement activities of the department. However, students get internship opportunities easily. Students have to do internships after the completion of every semester.

Very much satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: Only a few campus placements per year. Especially in some companies like oil, and in few coaching institutes as faculty. Although campus placement is not good most of the teachers make you well prepared for future opportunities. If you want to continue your studies to postdoc level there are many teachers in the department whose recommendation works very well. Many of our alumni are engaged in many attractive institutions.

Review of Tezpur University - TEZU.

Placements: The overall success of the department is remarkable. More than 80% of the total students secured first-class and many of them enrolled themselves in PhD and M.Phil clearing NET JRF, SLET, etc. Some of them choose the BEd course as their career option. The department has been able to maintain it's human sciences credibility with considerable academic brilliance.

The college has to improve its placements and faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are not much good as the placement percentage was 9.86%, last year. The highest salary package offered was about 8 LPA. Companies that visited the campus were Amazon, HCL, Tech Mahindra etc. The college launches a placement cell which improves our placements to a better level.

The college has good infrastructure, but the course needs to be updated as per industry standards.

Placements: For our batch, the placement scenario is better than the previous batches, but there is more room for improvement. Only 25% of the students got placed until now from the M.Tech course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Companies like Intel, Synopsys, and GE Healthcare, etc., visited the campus for placements. Roles are offered for internships. Some full-time jobs are also provided here. There is a placement cel...

Faculty are very good. They need to focus on providing industry exposure.

Placements: Most of the companies that visit the campus are service based companies providing lower packages. Only a few product-based companies offer good packages. But the intake of candidates is very low. Some companies leave without even recruiting atleast one candidate. This may be because of the lack of industrial related project knowledge and preparation sessions for larger product-based companies. Although the placement scenario is getting better nowadays compared to earlier years. But one needs pro...

Placements: There was only one ngo came for the placement, Pradhan, but no student was selected in the year 2017. There is a placement cell for the Dept but its not well utilized. No company placement came during that period. As per the placement information only tow students were selected in interview so far.

Quite satisfied with the facilities. However, the college can be improved to become the best.

Placements: Overall, this is a good university. Our faculty members are good, and they teach well. They provide materials and teach with the help of digital methods. The campus is good with good infrastructure. The management supports its students in all aspects. Placements are not that great here, but around 20 to 30 students get placed with a salary package of 1 LPA to 2.5 LPA from every batch. The training and placement cell encourages students all the time.

It is an average engineering college with poor placements.

Placements: Regardless of the student's branch, they are placed mostly in the IT sector. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, and so on visit the campus for placements. The placement scenario is below average. Around 10% of students were placed last year. The highest salary package offered was 3.24 LPA. The internship scenario is also the same.

B.Voc in food processing, Tezpur University review.

Placements: Placements scenario is very poor, not a single student got placement. If placement is a concern then its better not go for this course. Internships are included in the course curriculum but all are without stipend, University didn't fund a rupee at all.

Placements: The placement was not upto mark for our course. Being in the first batch, maybe we didn't got wide exposure. But, however the other departments had quite a lot of placement in good companies. Even in the FET department, brands like Nestle, etc. Came for recruitment.

Placements: Placements of M.Tech has been seen doing a fare upshift. B.Voc is comparatively new course. We were the first batch of this course in our University. Our strength was 15. 3 of them are already working. Those were placed off campus. Others have been seen studying higher studies in different Universities like BHU, IBS, Tezpur University. Placements: The placement of the English and foreign language department is not that great as compared to other departments of Tezpur University, but better than other colleges and universities of North East India. Since it is a new university and located in a remote area placements are less therefore but gradually it is increasing day by day.
