In my campus, infrastructure is the best but placement is medium.

Placements: In Tezpur University, Placement Scenario is medium. Around 30-40% student got the job from my senior batch. But In mechanical engineering, all girls are placed. The highest package is around 6.5 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 3 Lacs per annum. And from my university, some students are placed through GATE exam. In my university placement cell is also available which are very helpful for recruitment process and internship.

Best university in our country.

Placements: Placement in our department is very good compare to others branches. Our seniors are now in very good companies like ITC, Dabur, Nastle, Adani group, Amul, Britannia. Etc. Some of the graduate students are abroad for the higher studies like UK, Australia.

The beautiful Tezpur (Central) University.

Placements: Placement over here is moderate. The students of school of engineering and School of management get considerably good placements while there is a noticeable rise in the curve of placements among the students of School of humanities and social sciences. Last year the highest package for School of Engineering was 14lpa. While the average remained 7 to 8 LPA. Companies like amazon, intel, simplex, everest visits the campus. As for the present year ITC, cummins, uniborne, quaqua, wipro, zaloni have ...

Tezpur University civil department is good than most of the NITs.

Placements: About 60 percent of the students get placements in the college. The department is new, so it is at high trajectory growth, and the placement cell is working hard. The package is not very high it's about 2.7 lac per annum on average. I got placed in 3 companies, which is 1 core and two non-core. The highest package offered is 7 lakh per annum from the campus placement, and I am sure about the highest off-campus placements. Training in the field of soft skills and personality development is provid...

Overall, the infrastructure is good but placement is bad because of location of the university.

Placements: Last year, 12 students out of 48 were placed in different private companies. Two students went to different IITs for M.Tech. Some students went to some NITs for M.Tech. In this year, 5 students were placed out of 52. Three companies visit the college in March, and some students may also get a good score in GATE exam.

Dissatisfied with the placements and food supplied.

Placements: The placement scenario is very bad. There are no good placements in almost all the branches. CSE may have little good placements. I don't know about the exact figures of the packages. Many companies visit, but they take only a few students with them. Companies like TCS, OIL, etc., visit the college. There is a placement cell, and it is quite efficient.

The college has the world-class infrastructure and the faculty.

Placements: The placement of my college is low. In my department, there is a batch of 60 out of which approximately 15 students got placed every year, so approximately 40% of the students got the placements. The highest salary provided last year was 14 lacs per annum to 4 students, and 10 LPA to 2 students and the others get an average of 3.5 lacs per annum.

Tezpur University, a place to know.

Placements: The college is situated in North Eastern part of the country, and the placement remains the biggest challenge. A few of the big brands of media like Ramoji, Pradhan, Seva, etc. come to college for offering jobs to the eligible ones. The alumni of the place are placed in some of the best organisation.

One of the top ranking central universities in the country. Times ranking-7 in the country.

Placements: After completing the course integrated M.Sc in bioscience and bioinformatics, most of our seniors went for pursuing PhD in the most renowned institutes of India like TIFR, NCCS, CCMB, JNCASR, NII. The campus placements in this course are rare as this course is mostly research oriented still we sometimes have a few companies visiting us. Many of our seniors are abroad working in best labs of the world. Usually, the students clear NET-JRF and go abroad for further studies. Students got internships...

Absolutely satisfied with the quality of teaching.

Placements: Placements are kind of okay. Placement cell is doing its job efficiently though. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Zaloni, Amazon have visited the campus for the recruitment process. For the internship programs, many companies have shown interest, and quite a good count of students have been recruited from our batch.

A good research university and excellent infrastructure.

Placements: The placement in 2015 batch was good. Almost all the students were placed, but they were in IT companies. The later batch is getting placed in various core companies. The package wise placement is also improving, but off-campus placements are good, but they depend on individual capacity. More than 80% students are placed. The internship is compulsory in 3rd year, and everybody gets the internship through personal contact and through professor.

One of the best place to study in northeast India.

Placements: The placement in our college is bad when compared to the previous year. Overall, the placements are decent. I'm from the B.Tech, so the companies that offering the jobs are mainly service based but not the product based, so you can expect a minimum salary package of 3 LPA, whereas the highest is 15 LPA in computer science department. Overall, I will rate 4 out of 10 for the placements.

Good infrastructure, placements and faculty members.

Placements: I am pursuing integrated M.com course. There are no placements, but the department will provide us with internship programme in 8th-semester through which we can learn many things. For that programme, department will make us decide whether we want to continue the course or withdraw from it after B.com at the end of 5th-semester.

Placements: The campus placement is not good enough, but this campus is providing us with a better environment for self-study and preparation for UPSC and GATE. If anyone wants to go for their preparation for such level exam, can perform better with their graduation to be continued.

The life in Tezpur University.

Placements: Campus placements for mathematics students are not done here. Every year, at least 4-5 students qualify for CSIR NET, you can visit our department website tezu.ernet.in/dmaths to check our alumni list. Almost 30-40% of our department students get internships every year in reputed institutions.

It's a beautiful university. A wonderful environment of study, all the required facilities.

Placements: Senior batch placement is not good. Only around 8 students are placed. The highest salary offered is 9 lacs. The average salary is around 4 lacs. Patanjali company visited this year. Internship performance through this campus is good but without a stipend. GATE and UPSC examinations are advised, for a better future.

The Tezpur University has a good infrastructure, an average faculty and the placements are average.

Placements: The placements for civil engineering in the Tezpur University are not that good. The placements are good for other B.Tech branches. Computer science and engineering is the best branch regarding the placements in this college. The major recruiters of the college are TCS, Saplabs, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Students from the other branches like ECE, electrical, mechanical got placed too. A few construction companies also come for the recruitments of the civil engineering students. The overall placeme...

Placements: Placements, even if not 100%, are fair enough and have shown a progress with every passing year. The package varies from 3-12 LPA. The common recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Intel, IBM, etc. But for food engineering, we have specific recruiters like Nestle, ITC, etc.

Placements: The placement scenario in TU is not good. Except for the School of Engineering and the School of Business Administration, the others do not get placements. The T&P cell is somewhat unable to reach out to organisations and has failed to bring placements to the campus. Students have worked their way out to get themselves employed in various fields.
