I recommend joining this college for students who want to do higher studies.

Placements: Only a few companies visit our college and provide jobs for core departments. You have to put effort to get jobs. Only 3 out of 60-70 students got placed on campus. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are NRL and L&T. The placement scenario for core departments is very poor.

It is one of the top universities in India where you can pursue any degree.

Placements: Around 5-10% of students got placed in our course. There were no campus placements. You cannot get much paid with M.Sc. in Mathematics. The top roles offered were teachers, etc. We can also do a project under any professor.

I am blessed to study at Tezpur University.

Placements: In our college, almost 70% to 80% of students got placed in our course. Many ITI sectors, various universities, and colleges provided numerous job opportunities or placements. Top roles offered were technical assistants, software analysts, and project assistance. Only 20% to 30% of students got internships.

It is the best university ever in North-East Asia at low fees.

Placements: I give 4 stars for placements because the placement percentage increases every year, and now, the placement percentage is 56-62%. Last year, the highest package offered was 15 LPA, the lowest package was 3-4 LPA, and the average package was 5-6 LPA. Last year, the highest package increased by 8 LPA, which is pretty impressive. In my course, the top recruiting companies are Amul, Dabur, Emami, Patanjali and ITC. Many other big companies visit this university for placements. Approximately 30-40% o...

Excellent infrastructure+ talented hub of students+ less importance to placement .

Placements: Less than 10 students out of a batch of 50 got placed from mechanical engineering. The highest was around 6lakh. Some of the roles include production engineer, product design engineer, product engineer, etc. Some of the well-known companies that came are ITC, Dabur, Cummins.

Good university with otherwise bad placements.

Placements: The placements are very poor, especially for the M.Tech courses. Although a few companies come for placements in CSE, other departments are not having sufficient placements. During my time or stay in the M reach course there was no placement in my department. Not a single company came for placements.

Average placement with awesome infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placement is average in this university and one of the prominent reason behind this is the university's location, companies like Oil India Limited, NRL, Power Grid, Dabur, IOCL. Are some of the top recruiters. The highest package offered in this department is about 17 LPA and oil India limited offers package of about 12 LPA. The placement scenario in the university is improving day-by-day.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The highest package offered INR 12.3 lacs and the average package was INR 3.7 lacs. The percentage placement is not good overall, but not too bad also. If you study, you will grab a job with good package. You can get an internship on your own if you are unable to do so, the college will help you out in this.

Review about Tezpur University.

Placements: Mechanical engineering is a professional programme which helps students to understand the working mechanism of heavy tools and machinery. A course mechanical engineering makes students gain knowledge and experience in the designing of electric motors, automobile, aircraft and other heavy vehicles. We have 70 students in our class, and everyone gets offered from different companies. Some boys accepted the internship proposal for the salary of Rs. 18,000 per month in the Honda company.
