Tripura Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placement is very less as of now, but this year TCS came, and recruitment is now high. The highest package is 5-6 LPA and the lowest 2-3 LPA. 80% of students get internships. As it is a government college, only 50% of students get placements, so for placement, you should try off-campus placement.

Average college with no social life.

Placements: 40% of the students who apply for the placements get placed. The lowest package is 1 LPA. The highest package is 5 LPA. The average package is 2 LPA. Companies that come for recruitment include Capgemini, TripuraInfo, Pran, JBM, Infosys, and other small companies. Almost 80% of the students got internships in government-owned companies like ONGC, TRTC, etc. I don't really know about the roles offered, but I want to add that more than 70% of the students apply for government exams like banking ...

Limited placement and opportunities for the students.

Placements: In my university, the psychology department of my batch has only 13 students. There is no package system. Teachers used to give lectures on various subjects and courses of psychology, and no practicals are done, and they don't even take us on field studies. Our department provides internships in one of the hospitals for around 2 months, but they don't offer internships in other companies.

I chose botany because I like trees and environment.

Placements: College provides good internships in association with top companies. Internships are also a part of the curriculum, which every student should do it, which provides more knowledge and industrial experience. Placements are quite good with 85% of students getting placed every year. The average salary package varies from 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. It provides good placements in top MNCs like Amazon, Accenture, and TCS.

The facilities and opportunities are good.

Placements: The college provides a nice channel where the placement team tries to get students placement and has been maintaining a record of 80% of the students getting jobs in various roles and good organization, starting from gym trainers in CULTs, etc. The highest was 4 lacs.
