Placements: I am a student from UME, currently in my 2nd year. We have good placement with a percentage of 83%. The highest package offered in our course is 20 LPA to 33 LPA based on skill set. The lowest package offered is 3 to 5 LPA, and the average package offered is 8 to 11 LPA. The percentage of students who got internship opportunities is 63% of the 3rd year students I asked. Placements: You will be getting placements from Wipro, TCS, and cognizant as they are bulk recruiters, but expect any product-based companies, and the college doesn't make any effort to get you an internship as you are on your own on such things. If placement is the only criteria, then approximately 90 percent of students get placed, whereas only a few students get quality placements on their own. There is no role for college in getting you quality placements. The average package would be 3–6 LPA.

Placements: I think around 70% of the current batch students were placed in a well-to-do company. But many couldn't because of the lack of job offers and companies that are not currently looking to employ people. Top recruiters were Cognizant, Infosys, and TCS.
