- Devise a week-wise preparation strategy: Since the time is less, try to be precise with the planning. Devote the first two weeks completely to diving deep into the important topics of the SET syllabus. Prepare to gain basic knowledge on these topics. Give the last ten days to revise and solve SET mock tests to analyse the self-preparation.
- Improve speed and accuracy: Speed and accuracy are the two major players in the SET exam. Aspirants have to solve 150 questions in 120 minutes. Although the SET exam does not have negative markings, solving the questions with accuracy is important. Solve an ample number of mock tests in the last month to improve speed and accuracy, and make the best use of the time left for preparation. Try solving a question twice or thrice to improve speed and accuracy. Solving the question accurately is as important as solving them quickly. Try developing the skill of identifying questions that you can solve with 100 per cent accuracy.

- Capitalise strengths: Students appearing for the SET exam 2025 must have identified their strengths and weaknesses by now. It is important to work on the weaker areas but it is equally important to capitalise on strengths. Keep practicing consistently and try to find the best way possible for solving a question. Also, try finding tricks to solve questions in less time accurately. This will give the students more time to solve difficult questions.
- Revision: Revision is the key to any exam preparation. It is not possible to cover the complete SET syllabus in one month, therefore, aspirants must choose a smart way for revision. Try devoting one hour daily to revision. Prepare short notes and jot down the key points while revising. These short notes will help in a more focused revision strategy in the last week of SET preparation.
- Target the desired score: Set a goal when preparing for the exam. One must check the admission guidelines, eligibility, etc. of their desired college. Students must focus on scoring more than the previous years’ cutoff.
- Focus on exam day strategy: Candidates appearing for the SET 2025 exam must be clear with the exam day strategy. They must reach the SET exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts, must make sure that they should not indulge in unfair means and follow the CBT mode guidelines properly.
