Q:   Are admissions at UKA Tarsadia University entrance-based or merit-based?

A: 

UKA Tarsadia University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. Admission to majority of the programmes such as BBA, BCA, BCom, etc. is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. The selection for MBA is based on CAT, MAT or CMAT scores. The university considers CMAT and GUJCET/ JEE Main for MCA and BTech programmes, respectively.

UKA Tarsadia University offers Shri BU Patel Scholarship to UG and PG students. Below is the criteria for the scholarship:

The best college gives students with the best memories.
Placements: The highest salary package offered for the diploma is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, etc. Many students who are selected have a good CGPA of more than 7 or 8. I don't know about placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities we get in the college are Wi-Fi in every class, good labs, and the best library. The food is of the best quality. There are a lot of sports and games. I have taken a computer engineering diploma after which I am doing a degree in computer engineering from the same college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, good, qualified, and very knowledgeable. They reach out to students. This college makes students industry-ready as there are internships and industrial visits. We have practical exams.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computers as I have taken computer engineering. There are many fests and events in my college.

Everything is fine and well-maintained except for the issue of less faculty.
Placements: Last year almost 90 percent of students got placement. The highest package was 7 lakhs (not sure), the lowest package was 3 lakhs, and the average package ratio was 4 lakhs. From my course, the college managed to provide 80 percent of students, and the remaining students had already arranged their internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well and well-maintained by the authorities. Everything is well-maintained, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, and even the campus is also well-maintained. The main thing I found attractive is the central library of the college.
Faculty: The main issue in my university is that there are very few faculty available. They don't hire more facilities, and the remaining faculty have much workloads and almost all were frustrated every time, and anger fires on students. Now talking about the exam, the system is different from other colleges. Here there will be 2 internal examinations and 1 external examination, and you have to score 50 marks, which I found tough.

It a perfect college for BBA and MBA.
Placements: Their is not that much placement in our college, many companies come under placement drives, and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Most of the companies that visit here are from Surat, and some are from Ahmedabad. All companies have some criteria and they take exams and interviews, and our college prepares students for them in pre-placement talks.
Infrastructure: Building is not nice in looks The hostel is good and students are also very cooperative and friendly. The cleanliness of the hostel is very good and the rooms are also clean. The food quality is decent and the rent is also very good in UkaTtarsadia university. Overall accommodation of the college is good.
Faculty: Teacher are nice to student-faculty members are very cooperative and friendly. Exams are taken semester wise so that students gets much more time to remember and learn the syllabus. The faculty members helps in every situation though it is private or personal. The curriculum is very excellent.

Best private university in Bardoli.
Placements: Most students in my course get placed, but no packages are offered. The top recruiting companies are IT departments. There are no internships offered. The top roles offered in my course are all roles that students are qualified for. Nice departments are available.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of Wi-Fi hotspots with the best internet speed. There are a lot of labs, and the libraries are huge. The campus has a lot of grounds, and the canteen is good. There are also a lot of good study tables.
Faculty: The faculty is very experienced and knowledgeable, and they make sure that the curriculum is relevant to the needs of the industry. The pass percentage is very high, which is a testament to the quality of the teaching. The teaching methods are immersive and exam-related, which helps students learn and retain information. I would definitely recommend this university to any student looking for a quality education.

Diploma experience at UTU (Maliba Campus).
Placements: As for the Diploma qualifications, there are rarely any companies willing to recruit freshers. But faculty members regularly share information if there are requirements of Diploma pass out students as freshers to join any consultancy or company. The students who joined, also got paid.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, like very good. Wi-Fi works well, but it does not allow some websites and games to load, even WhatsApp does not work on the college Wi-Fi even when each classroom has a Wi-Fi. The library is packed with all the books required. Hostel is okay, the food is not good to be honest. In the morning, you have an option of the canteen food, but at night, you have to manage with the hostel food only.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and friendly in nature, they solve app your doubts and help you in career selections. The curriculum is bad, it does provide basic knowledge about all the branches including soil, water, survey, etc., but they do not teach us software which is the real need nowadays. Semester exams are divided into 2 parts with internals which are taken twice a semester consisting of 3 chapters in each subject with no holidays in between the exams, and externals which consist of the whole syllabus including 6 chapters with a break of at least one day between the exams.
Other: All the events are celebrated here. Freshers, farewell, navratri, youth fest, etc. are all well managed with proper checking and guards around the campus to avoid any wrong doings. Sports week is also organized at the university level where all the institutes or departments compete with each other to win final prizes.
