Sports and BCC are on top, with trials happening every month for all sports, mainly football.
Placements: From the middle of the semester, three companies start coming to campus for placements. Companies that visited include BlackRock, which hired 45 students for four profiles, and Deloitte US, which hired 38 students for two profiles as per last year, among many others. The highest package was offered by BlackRock, which was 22.5 LPA for the RQA profile. Almost 98% of students got placements. My plan after getting the degree is to work in a good MNC.
Infrastructure: My overall campus experience was good as the infrastructure of the college is solid. There is a canteen, grounds, places to sit and chill, and various clubs to join, like Nature, Football, NCC, and many more. The best spot is the Mother Tree near the canteen, where you can sit and enjoy.
Faculty: The faculty count is high, so I can't provide an exact number, but they are highly qualified and have good experience in their fields. Some faculty members are adjunct faculty. In semester 1, we have Cumulative Assessment 1 (10 marks), Cumulative Assessment 2 (10 marks), Mid Semester (20 marks), Cumulative Assessment 3 (10 marks), Cumulative Assessment 4 (10 marks), and End Semester Exam (40 marks). Semester 2 follows the same structure. We also have a mandatory summer internship program of 14 weeks, which is evaluated by both the company guide and faculty guide, followed by a final presentation. After that, in semesters 3 and 4, we choose specializations as domains and are evaluated accordingly.

Master of Commerce (M.Com.) (External) - Batch of 2024

One of the best colleges for M.Com.
Placements: There are almost 30% of students who got placed. The average package is around 17k to 24k. Many private companies offer placements for this course. Roles for this course include accountant, cashier, auditor, etc., as well as other financial services.
Infrastructure: About the infrastructure of our college, it is one of the top and best in Pune. Everyone knows that SPPU is the best in Pune, and it includes all facilities like WiFi, labs, study rooms, seminar halls, classrooms, and a library. The seminar hall is the biggest and newest, and the campus is very clean and neat.
Faculty: There is absolutely no doubt about the teachers in this college. Each and every teacher is excellent for this course and has deep knowledge about the syllabus. The teaching quality is 10/10. Regarding semester exams, the level is quite difficult, and the passing percentage is about 80%.
Other: I actually have a commerce background; I did my B.Com from this university, so I took admission in M.Com here. I know this is one of the best in Pune. One area for improvement is that the university should enhance the exam schedule and provide a better time gap between papers. There should be a 1-2 day gap between papers.

A short summary on my college.
Placements: The college never started much of a higher package, and it was up to 3 lakhs. We never got placements from our college properly. If I remember correctly, one student got into Bajaj Finance Company. After that, no such placements came again. They never provided internships to students.
Infrastructure: The classrooms were simple, without Wi-Fi or computers for students. They never taught us tally, even in computer labs; they used a projector, which was hard to see. The library was below average, with few reference books. Hostels were off-campus, but I didn't visit them because I lived nearby. There were no sports clubs where students could actively participate.
Faculty: The teachers were very knowledgeable, especially the accounts teacher. However, they didn't use practical knowledge but more theoretical, which sometimes made it hard for regular students. The semester exams were not that difficult, but the passing percentage was quite low, around 47%. If you study hard, this course can be very useful in the future.
Other: I found this course to be easy compared to other commerce courses like MBA and BBA. It provided basic information about accounts, taxation, and the finance and banking industries. However, it would have been more interesting if there were more practical components other than accounting. The college had days and an annual gathering that were a lot of fun. They also provided security so that no outsiders could enter the campus. Other events were held once in a while, and there were celebrations for festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Vidhyartini Manch, where only girls participated in exhibition dance performances and other activities. The campus is open and green, and scholarships are provided to category students. However, the money never shows up in the students' accounts, even though it says it was redeemed.

M.Com. in Finance - Batch of 2024
Offered by Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce, Pune

I recommend taking admission in Symbiosis, and you can prepare for government exams.
Placements: PG students placed 25-30, with an average package of 5 Lacs per year. A dedicated placement cell assists students in securing internships and job placements, providing them with career guidance. The college offers support services for academic and personal counseling, helping students navigate the challenges of college life.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, but the fees in the hostel are very high. The campus is equipped with modern facilities, including libraries, computer labs, and recreational areas. The environment is conducive to both study and relaxation. You can visit the college.
Faculty: They teach in such a way that a good student would not understand or cooperate. The faculty is generally well-qualified and experienced, contributing to a supportive learning environment. Some of them have a good educational background and academic knowledge.
Other: In M.Com finance, you explore all the things in the finance field.

M.Com. in Business and Technology Management - Batch of 2026
Offered by Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce, Pune

The college is very good, and faculty members are also good. Only the college campus is not too big.
Placements: Placement is good. Big 4s like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, etc. also come here. So, overall placement of the cell is good. A good number of students get placed. The package will be based on your skills. The highest package for M.Com. in last year was 800000 per annum.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. Classrooms are well-equipped with digital screens, projectors, etc. There are good computer labs. I don't live in college hostel so I can't give any review about hostel facilities and mess. But I think hostel fee is a bit high.
Faculty: All faculty members are good at teaching, and they are very friendly. They are all highly qualified. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and designed according to the company's requirements and to make students industry-ready. If we talk about the semester exam, if you study properly and attend college regularly, then the exam is easy for you.

M.Com course in Symbiosis college of arts and commerce.
Placements: Graduating students are qualified for placement opportunities. Over 70% of students secure jobs with an average salary of 5lpa per batch. Byju's, Toppers, Hexaware, Cognizant, Airtel, Aditya Birla, among others, are the top recruiting companies. Students with high scores in their first year are offered the best-paid internships, emphasizing the importance of academic performance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at our college is quite limited and outdated, and unfortunately, we do not have a playground. As a result, we have to rent a ground in order to play. However, we do have Wi-Fi available throughout the day. The classrooms can be small and occasionally feel overcrowded. On a positive note, our college boasts a large library with an extensive collection of books. In terms of accommodation, the hostel maintains good hygiene standards, and while the rooms are average and decent, the food provided is very nutritious.
Faculty: The professors are truly exceptional educators who have taught me well. The college fees include additional charges for parking and participation in tournaments. The curriculum is highly advanced, covering all facets of business to prepare us for the industry and foster self-reliance. While the semester exams are challenging, 80% of students pass, with only a few achieving a perfect score.
Other: The college has very limited transport facilities because its location is far from the city.
