Pune University's BTech programme is offered in a full-time mode. The duration of the programme is four years, spread across eight semesters. Pune University BTech admission is subject to a valid score in the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. However, candidates with a valid score in JEE Main/MHT CET are also considered for admission. Pune University BTech Agricultural Engineering admission is offered based on ICAR AIEEA scores.

Savitribai Phule Pune University has a criteria for all of its students to be eligible for 3rd year B.Com. all the students need to clear all first and second semester papers of the First year B.Com degree. The ATKT process allows students to continue there study if they have failed in 1- 4 subjects
