Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2025

I'm dissatisfied with crowd and security. Good infrastructure and average placement.
Placements: Only 10%-20% of students get placed in this course, and the placements are not very good. They offered a sales profile (BPO) for technical students. Placement is not that good for BCA students. They offer lower jobs to BCA students. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The only thing good about our college is its infrastructure. They have a Wi-Fi facility and good labs. Hostel quality is quite good but currently, they do not organize any sports activities. Behavior of hostel warden is not good and teachers don't listen to students' problems.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. There are many knowledgeable teachers. They make students industry-ready, but not that quite. Exams are of a good level, but it's not that tough to pass. The average pass percentage is around 5.5 CGPA. One can score that much by studying.
Other: The course is good because they offer good knowledge of it. This year they are conducting a fest. Overall, everything is good.

BCA in Artificial Intelligence in Association with IBM - Batch of 2026
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good faculty with great qualifications.
Placements: Almost 40% of students get placed every year in my university from BCA IBM. Top recruiting companies for my course are Infosys and TCS. Maximum roles offered are office work and some are for maintaining records. The highest package for BCA IBM was 800,000 and the lowest was 200,000.
Infrastructure: A smart classroom equipped with a projector and centralized air conditioning is given to us with well-maintained appliances and labs and workshops. Our hostel is also very well furnished with 24/7 electricity and water with clean washrooms and bathrooms. The quality of food is also good. There are three in-campus canteens with undoubtedly good food, and a complete hospital is in our college with free medical facilities for the students. For sports, a separate sports complex is made in which students can play tennis, basketball, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Our faculty is very helpful with good teaching experience and qualifications. The teaching quality is also very good and can be personalized if someone doesn’t like the method of their teaching. In BCA, subjects like reasoning, soft skills, and quants make students ready to face the real world and make them more confident. Semester exams are very easy in our college, but the intervals/breaks between the exams are considerably lower than in any other university. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose BCA for my passion for coding and programming. The best thing about my course is that it only focuses on programming. I think adding more extracurricular activities to our course would make it even better. Many events are held in our university, like the recent Synergy 2024 event, singing, dancing, coding competitions, and sports competitions, which are frequently organized in my university.

Overall this college was okay for the medical field. And infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Actually, this university was newly established (2021) so, in this college, placement percentage was not good like 30-40% students were placed only. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Companies visited in campus like TCS, Wipro etc.
Infrastructure: Placement shell was not so good but facilities are good like proper lab, Wi-Fi, air-conditioned, proper seats, projector in each classes are available and also the design of labs and classrooms are good. If I talk about the mess so, food is okay, gym is also available, there is a basketball court etc.
Faculty: Maximum teachers are qualified and helpful. If we talk about teachers' teaching quality, it was good but some teachers do not teach properly. Yes, this course makes students ready for the level. Semester exams are okay; you can easily pass the exam if you are studying properly.
Other: I choose this course because I want to grow in this course and I also have interest in this field.

I preferred to take admission in United University. It provides high package placement.
Placements: Here in my college, the average percentage of students allowed to take admission is 60%. The highest package is more than 20 Lacs and above, and the lowest package is 8-10 Lacs. Mostly, students do the internship from my course in STP Limited Company and many more companies.
Infrastructure: Here in my college, I believe there is much better infrastructure available. And in college, there is Wi-Fi for the students, and good condition of classrooms, smart rooms available, and labs for programming and activities. In my opinion, the quality of the food in my hostel mess and canteen is good and tasty. There is a sports complex and many types of games we play.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are much more qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The way they teach, we can easily understand. What they teach makes students ready for placements and jobs. The semester exams are not much difficult. The students can easily qualify. The passing percentage in the semester exam is 60%.
Other: I chose this course, BCA, because I had an interest in computer applications. And in my family, there are members who completed BCA and are doing jobs in the IT sector at high packages. That’s why I chose this course. Here in my college, the department provides us free time to enjoy, and they organize fests and events for the students. And the best thing is that they provide us with scholarships.

Unveiling the true college experience.
Placements: I am doing BCA IBM from United University and am currently in the 2nd year. Talking about student percentages in the BCA course, there are approximately 60-70 students in the BCA specialisation course with IBM and about 400 students in the BCA core subject. More than 100 big companies visit United University for college recruitment, such as Bandhan Bank, Flipkart, Amazon, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, and many others. The highest salary package in BCA is 60 LPA, and the average salary package is about 3 LPA. About 70% of students are engaged in internships.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very strong and good-looking. The environment and vibes are excellent. The facilities provided by United University are very good. The Wi-Fi connection and speed are a little bit slow, but the labs, classrooms, and library are excellent. The hostel facility is good, more than expected. However, the mess of food and the environment needs improvement.
Faculty: Talking about teachers and staff members are cooperative with students and the overall environment. Teachers are well-qualified and hold many degrees in their respective fields. Talking about course curriculum athe syllabus and knowledge provided by teachers are impressive. It helps students understand concepts quickly and become job-ready.
Other: I have a background in commerce from 12th grade and a strong interest in the technical field. As a better option, BCA was the last choice I considered. Overall, the environment at United University is great, but the hostel mess food, attendance issues, and the number of subjects related to the course could be reduced.

I enjoy my journey through this college life.
Placements: 40 percent of seniors have been placed so far this year. The highest package for BCA this year is approximately 5 lacs, with an average package of 2 lacs. The minimum package stands at 1.5 lacs. Top recruiting companies are essential. Almost 70% students have secured internships this year from my college. The top roles include software engineering, database admin, network officer, and web developer.
Infrastructure: We have good labs with functional Wi-Fi and smart classrooms, along with a very big library boasting a huge collection of textbooks. The hostel is pretty average, meals are not good, and we don't have many sports or gaming facilities in this college. However, we do have a hospital nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are good and very knowledgeable about their fields; they help us with our daily projects and guide us regularly. They foster a very good teaching environment. Some subjects are relatable to the curriculum, like databases. Yes, it helps students for the future. Semester exams are average, with a pass percentage of 40% in each subject.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in coding. I would like to have more subjects like blockchain technology. There is no event fest currently at this university.
