B.Sc. in Agriculture - Batch of 2026

4.2

All about my college and its ways.
Placements: Our college is very good in terms of placements. It provides nice placements, recently securing 40 placements out of 70 students in our college. The packages offered were nice, with our average package being 4 Lacs per annum, and all students are well-placed in one position or another.
Infrastructure: Our hostel has good infrastructure, including well-maintained bathrooms and living rooms, creating a clean environment. Additionally, we have a good canteen and very supportive staff members who take care of all the students very well. Furthermore, our hostel has a dispensary for handling all emergency cases.
Faculty: The faculty of our college are highly qualified, with all holding Ph.D. degrees. They have many years of teaching experience and can efficiently handle many students. They provide personal attention to everybody and focus on our overall development, guiding us along the way.

Not very much satisfied but better than other graduation programs.
Placements: Students with over 85% are normally placed in our college. Top recruits for this course include senior scientists, department heads, agriculture officers, food security officers, senior entomologists, FAOs, and many more. About 45% of students get internships each year.
Infrastructure: We have hostels with all the facilities, but I believe more facilities must be provided. The space is also not very adjustable; they must have more space to accommodate boarders. Water facilities should also be improved. We have good infrastructure for the college, but the campus should be a little larger.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good, and they have a lot of experience, providing a good education to the students. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it definitely makes the students ready for the industry. The exams are not very difficult, but they are good enough to test.
Other: It prepares the students mentally and physically to deal with the outside world, making them capable of dealing with harsh situations very well. The syllabus is vast, and there are many subjects, which is kind of an issue. We have enough events and festivals to keep us active throughout the semester.

The agriculture course completely deals with nature. Those who want to interact with nature join it.
Placements: Placements depend on your capability here, and most of the students seek to do M.Sc agriculture. So none of the students attends campus interview from B.Sc agriculture degree. Only some students opt for the campus interviews, but all of them do not get jobs. Students got jobs outside college.
Infrastructure: The hostel has good facilities for reading and studying, and each room consists of 4 students. The mess is clean, and we are charged a mess bill of around Rs. 2,600 to 3,200.
Faculty: The course consists of 8 semesters, and each semester has an average of 20 credit hours. About 6 semesters are theory-based, and the remaining 2 semesters are practical-oriented. Faculty members here are very good, and they come after class and ask our doubts. If we have any doubts, they clear them in few seconds. They are friendly with the students. The course is very nice and consists of almost all subjects. It has main subjects like agronomy, entomology, pathology, etc.
Other: I have an interest in agriculture from my childhood, and my father is a farmer, so I joined this course. This course consists of cultural events and sports fests, and there is a lot of enjoyment in this course.
