As it's a new branch of UEM, so there are no placements yet, However, as it's with IEM-UEM group, so we hope that it'll give placements.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Nice faculty, a great campus, pretty good facilities, and nice placements.
Placements: Our college guarantees 100% placements. It is provided indeed. Apart from that, students with high scores get a salary package of above 72 LPA from our college itself. TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are some known companies where our college students get placed.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on every floor, and it is quite good. Labs are there which are comfortable. They help us to gain practical knowledge. Classrooms are big enough. The library has great access. There are food facilities on every floor. There is one extra cafeteria.
Faculty: The teaching of most teachers is amazing. They help a lot in our course and students get a friendly tutor. Semester exams are moderately not as tough as IIT but they sometimes do make hard questions. Though the pass percentage is quite high, it is helpful.
Other: Our college not only puts effort into studies but also puts a lot of weight into extracurricular activities. It is something really good.

This is a college with discipline and great placements. You should be ready for hard work.
Placements: Around 80-85% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, and Capgemini visit the college. Around 20% of students got internships in companies like Amazon and IBM. Roles offered are software developer, data scientist, and cloud engineer.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi and CCTVs on every floor. The library has a wide range of books including foreign journals. The food quality and price in our canteen are decent. So I would like to welcome everyone. Everyone is friendly like one can get egg curry and sabzi at Rs. 50.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They often guide us and clear all doubts even if we ask them on holidays. Semester exams are a bit difficult as from now questions are made by IIT faculty members. The passing percentage is 65%. This is the data as per my knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because of the environment that the college has. There are many tech clubs and hackathons. There is no ragging in this college. Seniors are super friendly.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: I think around 70% of the current batch students were placed in a well-to-do company. But many couldn't because of the lack of job offers and companies that are not currently looking to employ people. Top recruiters were Cognizant, Infosys, and TCS. All types of roles were offered, both technical and non-technical. For internships, students have to look for them themselves because companies don't visit our college to hire interns.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is small but sufficient. Everything a student could ask for other than a bigger campus is there in our college. Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, gym, canteen, hall, etc., are all provided by the management. Out of 5, I would give it a 3 because of the slow Wi-Fi speed and the quality of classrooms.
Faculty: All the teachers taking our classes are qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is quite relevant, but I don't think it's very helpful. Students have to work their way through to get a proper job. The college won't provide you with all the necessary things you need. At the end of the day, it's all up to you.

Comprehensive curriculum with great placements, experienced faculty, and excellent facilities.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is around 23.72 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.54 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Amazon. A significant portion of students (around 70%) secured internships during their course. Major companies offering internships are primarily the same as top recruiters like Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Many useful books are available in libraries. Our labs are very equipped as well. Institute of Engineering & Management Campus provides all the basic amenities a student may require throughout the period. These amenities include smart classrooms, industry-grade labs, a library, auditoriums, sports facilities, an establishment for extracurricular activities, seminar halls, and various other establishments. The campus is constructed to keep security as a key aspect while preparing the leading healthcare forces.
Faculty: Students say that teachers are well-qualified, friendly, and helpful. The teaching quality is good and the curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with my career aspirations and interests. The curriculum offers a good balance of theoretical and practical knowledge with a focus on industry-relevant skills. Additionally, the faculty's strong placement record played a significant role in my decision. The best aspects of the course include the updated curriculum, experienced faculty, hands-on learning through projects, and access to internships. The institution also provides excellent facilities such as labs, libraries, and online resources, which greatly enhance the learning experience. While the course is strong overall, there is room for improvement in areas like more industry interaction, guest lectures, and increments.

Faculty members are very good and helpful. Placements are average, but exam decorum is a little bad.
Placements: Almost 75% of students got placed in B.Tech and other courses. Placements are better than other colleges. The highest salary package offered is 72 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 35 LPA. Better placements happened than the other colleges. Everything is good in this college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college for faculty members, not for students. Our labs are good. Classrooms are clean and comfortable. A library is available 24/7 Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are less in number. The canteen is average. Everything is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good but exam decorum is a little bad. Semester exams are very hard. This course curriculum is relevant. Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. Their teaching quality is 10/10. Everything is good in this college.
Other: I want to join the army as an engineer so I choose B.Tech. The best thing about our course is that I came to know about different computer languages and artificial intelligence. In our college, there are many tech events and fests. Normal fests are held.

Review of UEM Kolkata.
Placements: The placement record at UEM Kolkata is not very good. Only about 30% of students get placed, and the internship opportunities are not that good. The highest salary package is 78 lakhs, and the lowest is 4.8 lakhs. Some of the companies that come for placements are Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services.
Infrastructure: The WiFi is decent, the library is good, and the food quality is average. There is a canteen on campus, which is good. However, there is no hostel and no ground for sports. On the plus side, there is a basement where sports and other activities can be held.
Faculty: The faculty at this college is pretty average. There are only three or four good teachers; the rest are very average and just cover the syllabus to get through the semester. Most students don't understand the material, and the semester exams are difficult. Plus, there's too much pressure to maintain an 80% attendance rate.
