Great facilities and good job opportunities.
Placements: The percent of students placed in our course is around 80%, and the highest average package offered is 15 lacs, and the lowest average package is 8 lacs. The top recruiting are government schools and online institutes, etc. The top roles offered are lecturer, poet, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has great facilities and infrastructure. The facilities that are provided by the college are good classrooms, good labs, and well-equipped labs; the library is useful to students, and the hostels are good. The sports grounds are there.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful to students, and the teachers are highly experienced and have great knowledge in their subjects. The teaching quality is good, and the difficulty of the semester exams is tough, and the pass percent is above 80%, and the course curriculum is relevant.

Average college with average.
Placements: No one is placed since it's not a placement-based college. I am aware of this college. My subject is not internship-based. There's no placement as I said, it's an honors-based college only honors and pass course subjects.
Infrastructure: Only boys' hostel is available. For girls, there are many PGs and messes around, but they are not provided by the college. Per semester, Rs. 3,000 is charged since it's a government-based college and all are included in it. Canteen food is really good. There's a gym also. There are inter-college competitions.
Faculty: Teaching quality is great. Professors are good. Curriculum is not industry-ready, it is a research-based college. It's quite difficult for mathematics. Pass percentage is 70%. It doesn't make students industry-ready; one has to make themselves industry-ready. Teachers are well-qualified.
Other: I love doing math. There are good scholarships available for scholars. If students get 60% per semester, they will get Rs. 18,000 per year. Fest is good.

The University of Kalyani might be good.
Placements: In our university, there is a fair amount of study. Our seniors have not got placements anywhere before. No one gets a job from our university, and no company or organization comes here for jobs. None of the students have got a job till date. That's why students come less often.
Infrastructure: Our university has quite a bit of security around it, but it's not so good. Besides, the university has well-kept gardens and water fountains. The library room in our university is fairly good and peaceful. And the university's Wi-Fi does not allow us to use it properly. It cannot be said that the lab room of the university is good enough because many things need to be improved in the lab.
Faculty: Our teachers have good knowledge. However, I think they do not study together in the classroom. Most of the students find it difficult to understand the lessons. I think one test should be taken for all students before every exam so that they do not have any problems during the exam.

A fair experience in that college but hoping for improvement in faculty and facilities in the future
Placements: About 15 students were admitted to that course. I've been admitted to a government college, so I need to pay about 3 thousand for the admission fee. It's a general graduation course, and we didn't find any company to hire or recruit regarding this course. We need to take higher education to get a job. The Bioscience course is a good course because instead of a general course, we learn 3 subjects simultaneously: Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry. It's a mixture of science. After completing that course, if anybody is interested in WBCS, CGL, or UPSC, they can go because they have already gained a lot of science knowledge.
Infrastructure: We have a college, but its infrastructure isn't enough for students. Each and every section should be divided by buildings or blocks, like Zoology Department, Botany Department, and so on. The college has Wi-Fi, but we never use it. Labs need improvement. The library is good but needs more flexibility to get the books. I wasn't in the hostel, but I know there is a hostel. I don't think students are staying there. But if the infrastructure and facilities improve, students will consider the hostel. Yes, there is a canteen, medical facilities, and sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers were great, really. They are very deserving teachers, but students are very irregular, that's why they can't teach us at their satisfactory level. Classrooms are normal classrooms as high school needs to improve by installing digital screens or projectors in classrooms and miking systems. There is a need for awareness about that course. The curriculum is okay. The semester exam was fair. And the passing percentage is, I think, 80%.
Other: I've chosen this course for a B.Sc. Degree to get a Graduation Certificate and also to get a scholarship. I wish our course needed to improve the quality of education by offering more practical programs in the lab or programs outside of college by tour or traveling to biological places. Events happen, festivals I didn't notice, the campus is sometimes empty, sometimes crowded. The surroundings are beautiful, scholarships like Aikkyashree or SVMCM. Extracurricular activities are there but there is less awareness about them.

Well organised and knowledgeable environment.
Placements: No placement available. So no companies were come in the college. But we students can apply for internship in various sectors. 4% of us got internship opportunities. After completing graduation, we need to go for post graduation. After that, we can apply for various types of job roles in various sectors like industry, health, pharma, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well organised as per the course requirements. There is a B.Sc. Type 1 with other notable lab equipments. There is a central library and also Wi-Fi connection is there. No hostel facility is available. We need to organise PG on our own and it is available nearby in walking distance.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and teaching quality is very good. They are always welcoming and satisfactory to talk with them. They always guide for our betterment. This course is very relevant for industrial opportunities. Semester exams are moderate difficult and 99.8% is pass percentage.
Other: I love microorganisms and there livelihood. That is the reason to choose microbiology. But I wish to know more about viruses which is not too much in graduation level. Events and fests are organised on the scheduled time line. Campus is not too much crowded. Railway station and bus stop are nearby. Surrounded with greenery. Scholarship opportunities are there. Intra and inter departmental competitions are also organised.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) - Batch of 2023
Offered by Dumkal College

Dumkal College in Murshidabad .
Placements: The college is located in a rural area, so the placements are not very good. However, the facilities are good, including the teaching quality. The environment of the college, the campus, and the buildings are all good. The seniors and faculty do not behave rudely; they are all good.
Infrastructure: No, the college is not providing any hostel facilities. Many students come from the neighboring locality. The infrastructure is good; it's a government college, so the facilities are not extensive, but the teaching quality of the professors, compared to other colleges, is good.
Faculty: Bachelor of Science in geography is a three-year course, so it's basically honours in geography. The curriculum under the CBCS program conducts the exam every 6 months; it's a semester-based exam. The curriculum is based on theoretical as well as practical.
Other: It's a government college, so they provide many scholarships, like the SVM Swami Vivekananda merit scholarship. It's a scholarship that provides the West Bengal government to financially poor students to help in education.
