Review of University of Lucknow.

Placements: There is no criteria for percentage in campus placements. I was selected by Mahindra as a commerce manager. They don't ask about the percentage in the campus selection. I got placed in the last semester. They just check your ability and smartness.

Blissful college life with wonderful studying experience.

Placements: We had been offered jobs related to accountancy, consultant, and maintaining of ledgers, where bookkeeping was involved. We also got jobs in fields related to accountancy and commerce. Communication is also one of the major skills students must have to get placed.

Placements can be improved here.

Placements: For technical courses like B.Tech, etc., there might be placements, but for M.Com, there are no placements in our college. After completing my master's degree, I wanted to prepare for various competitive exams. My aim after completing a masters is to get a bank PO.

Overall, the college is good.

Placements: Placement in our college is good, but for the commerce stream, it is just average. Average companies visit our campus for placements and offer the salary packages around 5 LPA. It has better placements for MBA, B.Tech. Overall, small companies offer placements, but placement opportunities are increasing in college.

Satisfied with the quality education.

Placements: Placements in our college are just okay as no reputed companies visited our college. Average companies visited which offered very low salary packages. Even if the salary is high, there is a variable which covers nearly about 60-70% of the package.

Know and then say no to Lucknow University.

Placements: Though we have a good placement cell still, no good companies visit us, and if it does, so many students are not being informed about it. So, you have to keep in touch with the faculty for the information about the companies visiting, and the package is not good usually. I haven't heard or seen any of my seniors to be placed through university. If you are looking for placement it will be tough for you here at University of Lucknow(M.Com).

Placements: Placements in our college were not good. Fewer companies visit our college to offer Jobs. They offered a low salary of Rs. 10,000-12,000 per month. There is a placement cell in our college, but it is not more active to invite companies to offer jobs in college.

It is a nice college with a really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There is good placement system in the college. Many international companies came twice in a year for the recruitment. But the placements got about 20% of the student with a good salary. There were different roles offered for the students like the customer care executive, customer care representatives, sales and marketing.

The college is clean except for the washroom. The faculty is good and campus placement is bad.

Placements: In the 2 years course, 3 companies visited the college. I got selected in the Eureka Forbes as sales executive but they offered only 8k-12k. The other company was Ernst & Young in which I was disqualified in group discussion round. They were offering a salary of 25k. A total of approximately 100 students takes part every time in each campus placement program and only 20 to 30 get selected.

Satisified because of good faculty.

Placements: Placements were negligible at the University of Lucknow. Only 1 to 2 % students were placed in the entire batch. The kind of job that was offered was mainly a calling job which was not that much good. So as such, the salary was not a point to consider. No internship was provided by the college.

My college was an affiliated Lucknow university college. The infrastructure was bad, teaching quality was bad and campus life sucked. I won’t recommend it to anyone. Lucknow University is a state university and so marks given are low which affects post-graduation admissions. It’s better to go for a private university than studying in Lucknow University.
