Placements: There is no criteria for percentage in campus placements. I was selected by Mahindra as a commerce manager. They don't ask about the percentage in the campus selection. I got placed in the last semester. They just check your ability and smartness.
Placements: We had been offered jobs related to accountancy, consultant, and maintaining of ledgers, where bookkeeping was involved. We also got jobs in fields related to accountancy and commerce. Communication is also one of the major skills students must have to get placed.
Placements: For technical courses like B.Tech, etc., there might be placements, but for M.Com, there are no placements in our college. After completing my master's degree, I wanted to prepare for various competitive exams. My aim after completing a masters is to get a bank PO.
Placements: About 20% of the students from our course were placed. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Wipro and TCS are the top recruiting companies for our course. Roles offered in our course are related to finance and economical. The highest salary package offered in our course is 2 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Only 10% of the students got internships.
Placements: Placements for our course was just average. About 20-25% of our batch got placed. The salary package offered ranges from 2.15-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Karvy, HCL, etc. As much as I know, none of the students from our batch got an internship.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 7.2 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Muthoot Finance were the top recruiters. The top role offered was assistant manager. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 7.2 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. No internship was provided during the cour...
Placements: Placement in our college is good, but for the commerce stream, it is just average. Average companies visit our campus for placements and offer the salary packages around 5 LPA. It has better placements for MBA, B.Tech. Overall, small companies offer placements, but placement opportunities are increasing in college.
Placements: Placements in our college are just okay as no reputed companies visited our college. Average companies visited which offered very low salary packages. Even if the salary is high, there is a variable which covers nearly about 60-70% of the package.
Placements: Lucknow University provides placements in companies like Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Jio, HCl and other local companies. Lucknow University organises a fest and job fair for students. The Lucknow University affiliated college named KKC and Lucknow University together organise a job mela for students.
Placements: LU provides placements in various reputed companies like Reliance, Coca-Cola, Mahindra, KFC, etc., that visit our campus to recruit new talent. Toppers as well as other students get a chance to get placed. LU provides up to 60% placements. So overall, Lucknow University is good at providing placements.
Placements: There is a well managed placement cell in the campus branch wise I. e. separete cell for each master courses. Our TPO ( Training & Placement Officer took his job seriously and invite top rank companies of India as well as some MNCs also. Students who are internships also got opportunities to get in some well placed companies.
Placements: Though we have a good placement cell still, no good companies visit us, and if it does, so many students are not being informed about it. So, you have to keep in touch with the faculty for the information about the companies visiting, and the package is not good usually. I haven't heard or seen any of my seniors to be placed through university. If you are looking for placement it will be tough for you here at University of Lucknow(M.Com).
Placements: Placements in our college were not good. Fewer companies visit our college to offer Jobs. They offered a low salary of Rs. 10,000-12,000 per month. There is a placement cell in our college, but it is not more active to invite companies to offer jobs in college.
Placements: There is good placement system in the college. Many international companies came twice in a year for the recruitment. But the placements got about 20% of the student with a good salary. There were different roles offered for the students like the customer care executive, customer care representatives, sales and marketing.
Placements: The placements of our senior batch were below average. The number of students placed was 20%. The highest package was Rs 3.5 lacs, the lowest package was Rs. 2.5 lacs and the average was Rs. 2.8 lacs. The companies which visited the campus are Wipro, HCL, etc. The profile was of sales. No internship was there in the course curriculum.
Placements: The university has started campus placements from this year. Some good companies like ICICI, HDFC, Aditya Birla Group visited the campus. ABG offered the role of company auditor and the banks offered regular desk jobs. The average salary offered was 4-5 LPA. Many other insurance companies also visited the campus. Many students were able to get through the selection process. The university doesn't have any scene of offering internship for the M.Com program, but for MBA. ...
Placements: In the 2 years course, 3 companies visited the college. I got selected in the Eureka Forbes as sales executive but they offered only 8k-12k. The other company was Ernst & Young in which I was disqualified in group discussion round. They were offering a salary of 25k. A total of approximately 100 students takes part every time in each campus placement program and only 20 to 30 get selected.
Placements: Placements were negligible at the University of Lucknow. Only 1 to 2 % students were placed in the entire batch. The kind of job that was offered was mainly a calling job which was not that much good. So as such, the salary was not a point to consider. No internship was provided by the college.
My college was an affiliated Lucknow university college. The infrastructure was bad, teaching quality was bad and campus life sucked. I won’t recommend it to anyone. Lucknow University is a state university and so marks given are low which affects post-graduation admissions. It’s better to go for a private university than studying in Lucknow University.
