Many journalists are studying at Uttarakhand Open University.

Infrastructure: This hostel is good and cleaned daily. Rooms are spacious, and large lockers are available for the bigger backpacks. Electricity and a water supply for 24x7 are provided in the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and very helpful. Staff members are friendly, helpful and have a lot of local knowledge, and they also go the extra mile.
