A very cool infrastructure and very good placement offers.

Placements: For our batch placement was quite good and for out senior branch it was fine. Around 60% of the students were placed. The highest salary package was Rs10 lacs per annum. And the average was Rs4.5 lacs per annum. Around 50 companies visited the campus. Students were offered according to tier marks. Around 10% got internship. There is a placement cell. The highest package was offered by hp. It was quite useful.

Good infrastructure & facilities, average faculty but very good for creating professional approach.

Placements: There were not much placements in previous years but since last 2-3 years college is laying more emphasis on placements. Many companies like quidlex & law firms are visiting college for placement drives, also college is organising seminars on creating CV& resume & how to face interview. College is also providing internships to students in various companies and law firms.

Review of Uttaranchal University.

Placements: Placements are not that good, and many other facilities are also not good. So, I won't suggest this college to anyone. They mainly focus on infrastructure, not on placement which is very good. Discipline is well-maintained in the college.

Excellent campus and infrastructure. Average faculty.

Placements: Well, B.Sc Hons students don't get many placements after graduating anyway, so don't get your hopes high. You can pursue B.Sc from here and then attempt to crack JAM and get a good placement from there. If you want to get placements after bachelor's, then pursue B.Tech.

Law college has very good infrastructure and facilities. Discipline is the basic principle here.

Placements: The college provides us with an opportunity to be an intern of reputed organisations and law firms. All the students don't get that fair chance which is required. Placement holders are not satisfied with them, and they leave that responsibility of that work for which he was appointed. Our alumni accept that there is not a better effort made to provide them with a job opportunity according to their efficiencies and abilities. The placement is a big issue for our college. Highly satisfied with the faculty and the equipment provided and also with the atmosphere.

Placements: I don't know much about placements, but according to our seniors, I can tell that companies do not visit our college for bulk employment. Patanjali, Farelabs, etc., are some companies which visit with a few employment offers. Even the salary packages offered are also not very nice.

Good but not Best. Need to work on practical training and placement.

Placements: Our college comes under one of the best colleges of Dehradun. Yet the placement stats is not so good. If I talk about the computer Science students, almost 80% of the students get placed. For other branches figure lowers to 16%. Also, let suppose 80 students have been placed. Only 10-20 students will b having a good opportunity to start in some IT industries, that too only in case of CS students. Others, like me would be selected for some BPO, KPO, RPO basically just some kind of call centers. A...

It's a value for money college, education is also very good and the best thing is campus.

Placements: I have studied in Uttaranchal Institute of Management, and my course was B.Sc(IT), and for B.Sc(IT) there are no placements. If I talk about some other courses like MBA, there are some placements, and mostly there are 4-5 companies for MBA, and I don't know much about other branches.

It is the best law college in Garhwal region.

Placements: Law college Dehradun is the best law college in Garhwal region. After LCD is affiliated with Uttaranchal University, this is the 5th batch. Placement programme is run by some famous law firms. A long-term goal in the career of law in this college is Moti aged students to study further.

Uttaranchal University, stands for excellence.

Placements: Placements are good in IT sector and processing organisations, but core sector placements are less as compared to CS/IT jobs. In our batch, the placements were good in IT companies. Approximately 70% students got placed in various firms, while the percentage of placements was less for EEE, mechanical and civil. The salary offered varied from 2.5 LPA to 5 LPA. There was no internship programme from the college, and students have to manage it on their own. There is a good placement cell and that t...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements in 2018 and really good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement is not good enough in our branch as compared to others like computer science engineering. Last year, 2 students got placed in South Africa at a package of 16 lacs per annum. Other students don't get placed, but with help, they also got placed, but this year, no one got placed.

Placements: The placements for a senior batch is not good as only 15-20 student got placed. The salary offered is 8 LPA by Sunmark, Amazon etc. In our branch, the internship from the college is 0%. There is a placement cell, and it is efficient for us and the students from the other colleges too.

A good college with best infrastructure but lacks placements.

Placements: The placements of the college are totally zero. The students have to prepare themselves for the placements by going to the pool campus drive. The college spends all its money on infrastructure. Uttranchal University is overall good but lacks placements.

At the first sight of Uttranchal University.

Placements: The placement scenario is bad for our department. At least four to five the companies arrive and recruit some students in the other colleges, but in our colleges, only one or two companies arrive and give the package of 1.6 to 1.8 lacs per annum. So, the college has to do something different to increase this placement ratio.

Placements: The placement for civil engineering in Uttaranchal University is not much good. Other branches like mechanical engineering and computer science engineering have good placements, but if you talk about civil engineering, you don't have a good opportunity in campus placements.

Placements: The placement of our seniors was good. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Aptara, HP come for recruitment. There's a placement cell too. They offered roles in our IT field like software developer, etc. Internships are also offered by the college for PG students.

Placements: It depends on you and your skills, but overall the placements are good enough. Many companies come here recently Indian Navy was there. There is a placement cell which looks after all the visits of the companies. I can't say anything about the internships offered by the college because I guess they don't provide internships.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the placements, moderate teachers. It has a well built campus.

Placements: The college is not good in placements as there are no civil engineering companies. I don't expect any placement from the college, rather than this, the college welcomes 2 or 3 placement drives for the civil students. I haven't heard any of the civil students got placed from the college placements.

Placements: The placements are only for the students who go to the computer, electronics branch and few for mechanical engineering, but not good for civil engineering placements. Few companies visit the institute, but they don't give any placements. There is no good package for the students, and this a con for the diploma holders.

Placements: The placements for B.Tech in Uttranchal University largely depends on your personal skills and academics excellence too. But last year 54% of the students got the placement with the average salary of approximately Rs. 30,000 per month, while the highest salary offered was Rs. 82000 per month while the lowest was Rs. 25,000 per month. Many known big companies like Infosys, HP visited the campus and selected the students by their capabilities and personal skills along with academic results.
