Ujjain Ayurvedic College at a Glance
Placements: This is a medical degree, so you will not get a package like engineering. However, we have a lot of career opportunities; we can prepare for government exams like CHO, AMO, Professor, etc., or we can run our own clinic after completing UG. There are many more opportunities, such as running your own pharmaceutical company too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is superb; it has Wi-Fi all over the campus. The library is fully digitalized, and classrooms have projectors. The hostel facility is poor, but a new hostel with 250 seats for girls and boys is going to be developed in nearly three years. Currently, the college doesn't provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. The teaching quality is also good, and the course curriculum is satisfactory. The difficulty level of the semester examinations is moderate, with a pass percentage above 50%. Although you can prepare for the main exam in 2-3 months, it would be better to study throughout the year.
Other: I chose Ayurveda because it has many career-related opportunities, and the government is promoting it now. It helps to prevent disease and improves people's lives, which gives me satisfaction. There are many fests organized in our college, such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Holi, etc. Apart from this, annual functions, sports, and cultural activities are also organized.

My college life and the college are the best.
Placements: Seventy-five students are allotted every year, and almost every student gets placement in higher college according to their PG scores and higher department. Every student does an internship as it is compulsory. Roles provided include Ayurveda doctor, Ayurvedic medical officer (AMO), community health officer (CHO), professor, and nutritionist.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is the best, as it is equipped with Wi-Fi, labs for every particular subject, and a library well-equipped with lots of books. Our college is soon going to develop hostels for 250 seats for boys and girls in the coming three years. This will help students in every sector.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful and have the best knowledge in their subject. They have unique ideas to deliver their knowledge to students. Yes, my course is relevant as it helps students become doctors and save the lives of those in need. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 50 percent.
Other: This course is the best, as it gives the opportunity to be a doctor and save the lives of those in need. More and more spread of Ayurveda should be done to encourage students to add to their nature and their roots. Many events are organized in our college, like Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Holi, and various sports, which help students develop their skills in extracurricular activities.

Reality is not matching the hype.
Placements: To be very honest, there is no placement in college. You have to apply off-campus for jobs. Not a single company comes here. There is one event happening here, which is a job fair but the companies that come are not companies; they are just local businesses that give below-average wages.
Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure, it is good and very huge, with lush greenery. There is one huge library situated on campus. Other than that, there is no such extra facility provided by the college. My house is very near the college so I have no idea about hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are actually good and friendly. They are experienced and teach very well but the problem is that they are not regular. Classes are not regular. The course is only based on theoretical knowledge, but there is a lack of practical knowledge. Exams are at a moderate level and happen every 6 months.
Other: Campus life is very boring here. There are no clubs or societies. Events and fests are also not happening here.

At a glance: Government Ayurvedic College, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
Placements: 75 students were placed in every batch. This number increases or decreases each year. Almost every student gets placement in higher colleges according to their PG scores in higher departments. Top roles include practice as an Ayurvedic doctor, Ayurvedic Medical Officer (AMO), Community Health Officer (CHO), professor in higher institutes of Ayurveda, and nutritionist. There are many more options, and this criteria is expanding in Ayurveda.
Infrastructure: Our entire college infrastructure is excellent. It provides labs for each particular subject, and there are enough classrooms for each year's students. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. The library is well-equipped with lots of books, and the college is soon developing Wi-Fi facilities. Our college is planning to develop a hostel for about 250 seats for boys and girls in the coming year. Medical facilities are available in our hospital since it is a medical college. Games and sports are organized every year, helping students develop their skills in extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The teachers of every subject are well-qualified and experienced. They have ample knowledge and great ideas to share with students. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for future life skills. The semester exams are usually moderate, with a pass percentage of nearly above 50%.
Other: This course is excellent as we become doctors and get the opportunity to save lives. More knowledge and positive aspects of Ayurveda should be spread throughout the world so that more people can connect with the roots of nature and stay happy and healthy. Every year, many events like Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi, and others are organized and celebrated in a good and healthy manner. Students from Madhya Pradesh are also provided scholarships according to their category.

Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of Vikram University?

A:
{Source: BBA students & alumni]

Vikram University has a moderate academic schedule with around 5-15 lectures per week. The dress code is flexible, and students can wear whatever they prefer. Sports facilities are excellent, with multiple sports grounds and coaching available. The college culture is welcoming, and students can speak in their preferred language. There is no discrimination on the basis of location or language. However, attendance is not strictly enforced, and rule breakers may receive a warning. Exams are semester-based, and students can easily prepare for them by studying from the textbook. Teaching methodologies include textbook-based lectures and case study discussions, and there is a well-stocked library for research and reading resources. Security measures include guards and CCTV cameras everywhere, but outsiders cannot enter the campus unchecked.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college is mixed. Some reviewers have praised the college's infrastructure, stating that it is good, with modern facilities such as Wi-Fi connectivity, a central library and well-maintained hostel rooms. However, other reviewers have had negative experiences with the college's infrastructure, citing issues such as poor food quality, lack of security and outdated classrooms.

It appears that the condition of the hostels varies, with some being new and others being older. Additionally, the quality of food served in the canteen is a subjective matter, with some reviewers finding it to be good and others describing it as average.

Overall, the infrastructure of the college seems to be decent, but there is room for improvement in certain areas. It may be beneficial for the college to address these issues and work towards providing better facilities for its students.
