I'm dissatisfied because of the bad management.
Placements: Only about 10% of students in our college get placement in good ayurvedic companies; the rest have to find their own. There are not many recruiting companies that visit our college. Even though no internship money is being provided to the interns. We have reserved four seats for housestaffship but somehow those four seats of ours are not being given to us.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the class. The canteen is bad and unhygienic. The hostel facility started only this year. Labs are present but just for show. No actual lab work lessons are given to us. Apart from that, medical facilities are available because it's a medical college. There are no sports or games sections.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very kind and helpful. No freshers or convocations take place. We students have to do fundraisers for our annual programmes and convocations with no help from the management. Semester exams are just for show. It really does not matter if one attends the semester exam or not. The final exams are the main thing, and the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in ayurveda and I aimed to do well in this field.

The college has very good infrastructure.
Placements: It is a very good college. 95% of students are placed in the course. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. 99% of students got internships in our course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available and good. Labs are very good. The classrooms are beautiful and nice. Everything is nice. All the teachers are good and monitor all students. Sports facilities are good. Canteen food is always healthy.
Faculty: All the teachers are good and guide all the students well like a parent. They teach us morally. All the teachers are good, especially Supriyo sir, Asraful sir etc. Many other teachers are good. This course is relevant and good. Semester exams are not much difficult.
Other: All things are very good and beautiful. JB Roy is one of the best ayurvedic colleges in West Bengal.

Our college is the best in quality.
Placements: Our college provides students with a degree that enables them to be their own master. Students can start their chamber, start experimenting and get more exposure to patients. It gives them the best opportunity to get a post-graduate degree, and at least it gives its base. This college is the oldest in India, but it is also the best college with a research facility.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not that good. However, it is located in a very good position near Bidhannagar railway station. Quality of food served here is good, but the Wi-Fi facility is not available. The atmosphere is very friendly with the senior students. Bathrooms are somewhat better, and the rooms are well-spacious.
Faculty: The course is very useful, and the teachers are very helpful. Overall, you can get what you need only by attending the classes. There are well-performed tests and class tests that make you enable to non-vulnerable to any test based on Ayurveda in your life. I am satisfied to have an opportunity to get into this.
Other: There is a fest every year, with all alumni and teachers attending to it. Teachers are supportive, and our college is the only government college in West Bengal. It is the oldest college in India. Minority scholarships are available from the first year.

Join if you love Ayurveda and want to make a well-established professional medical career in it.
Placements: It is a professional course. So knowledge and skills matter at the end of the day. Those who have studied well and completed their MD have secured jobs and earned lakhs through private practice. The highest package depends upon your skills; you can earn crores in business. The lowest package is INR 3 lakh per year. The average package offered is INR 8.5 lakh per year. Ayurvedic companies like Patanjali, Baidyanath, Himalaya, etc. offer placements. All the students get internships from the government. Also, you will get approx. INR 30000 per month while doing an internship. You have several options after this course, you can own a company, be the business head, or run a research and development unit.
Infrastructure: Labs are good, classrooms are getting modernized, lifts are also available, and our hospital also recorded more than 3 lakh patients last year, which is extraordinary for an ayurvedic medical college and hospital. A 5-story hostel building, well-designed and well-managed, well-furnished, with a nice and friendly hostel committee, is there. Food is good. This is the hostel of a medical college, so there is no tension about medical facilities. We have two playgrounds beside our hostel. We play mainly cricket and football. Annual sports are organized for the college and hostel, with many indoor and outdoor events.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have extraordinary clinical and technical quality. Teaching is very good. Ayurveda is now one of the fastest-growing career options. Moderate-level questions are asked in exams. The pass percentage is very close to 100%.
Other: I love Ayurveda. Infrastructure and funding from the government have to be improved for this college. College fests are organized every year with mouth-watering but expensive food menus and cultural programs. The campus is good. Most importantly, this is a government institute. This college and hospital are situated in the main Kolkata city, so the surroundings are very populated, which is the most important thing for a hospital. Many scholarships are also available.

The environment is very good, and there are helpful faculty members and good quality education.
Placements: Every year, many students get a chance to study in many government MD PG colleges of Ayurveda across the country and get government jobs like CHO, MO, etc. Teaching role is also offered in private and government colleges. Students get a chance in the research field of CARI and CCRAS.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious. Labs have almost all the instruments. There is also a white screen in every classroom. Food in the canteen is good, but it offers only vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options and no beverages. Girls' hostel facilities started this year, and there is no boys' hostel. Mess facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are greatly knowledgeable and always helpful and cooperative, and they guide us well. Every week, clinical classes are held. Faculty members give us clinical knowledge regarding cases of patients very minutely and attentively over digital presentations and video presentations. Departmental seminars are also conducted.
Other: The campus has a friendly atmosphere. Seminars and cultural fests are conducted during Saraswati Puja, and Dhanwantari Jayanti. Many students take part in the central institute's essay competitions and secure places. Many times, our college students are felicitated by educated personalities of Ayurveda from our state.
