Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, clinical equipments, infrastructures and extra curricular.
Placements: The college trains you for the future. As the skills of a doctor matters the most, the faculty members try their level best so that you develop the appropriate skills with precision. The more skilled you are, the more patients you will get. Every student will have to be an intern at our college. Internship is mandatory and it is paid.
Infrastructure: There are large halls with appropriate equipments and dental chairs which have been turned into clinics. There is the use of the latest equipments for training purposes. The lecture halls are the form of theatre alongwith projectors. There are 3 lecture halls in all in the BDS building. There is one big library with variety of books. The library is very spacious. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The BDS girls' hostel has 3 floors. The rooms are average with 3 people in each room. The biggest advantage is that each room has a private washroom. Whereas the boys' hostel has large rooms but common washrooms located on each floor of the 6 floored building. Cleanliness is average.
Faculty: Yes, the professors are very skilled and helpful. You can approach them with your doubts with any hesitation. BDS is a professional course and the college majes sure that you learn everything with precision so that when the students passout, they can start their own practice. There are yearly exams alongwith internals which are pretty difficult.
Other: Anyone who wants to be a dentist knows the importance of BDS. You are already in a specialised course. You serve your patients appropriately and you will get your desired result. The path is tough but the results will be satisfactory.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: In this college, students get 1-year internships. After that, students can go for private practice or they can opt for post-graduation which is available in our college. Many students are placed as professors once they complete their PG. Almost 90% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: All necessary equipment is available in all departments. All departments are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi facilities. There is a central library where medical and dental books are available. Hostel facilities are good, and the food served in the mess is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, and they are experts in their field. Professors are very helpful to develop skills in the field of dentistry. University exams are held once a year. The pass percentage is very good. Students also have gold medalists from various batches, so the quality of education is good.

An honest review by an existing student.
Placements: There's no such placements in a dental/medical college. This college will provide you all the means to home your handiwork skills. The facilities will be approachable and even the Principal. This is an absolute no-ragging zone. The patient load is ample considering it's a private college. The only drawback is the stipend which is too low compared to the other government colleges.
Infrastructure: The course is of 4 years. Some MBBS subjects are taught in the adjacent sister college of ICARE institute of medical sciences and research. There's then a compulsory rotatory internship of 12 months in the same college as well. The hostel facility is also good.
Faculty: There are 3 exams held in a course(except the final year which has 2 exams). A student has to buy his or her own instruments and materials though. Except in the final year (and now, the third too) where students get exposure to patients. The campus is small. There's no auditorium in the campus. There are numerous eateries just outside the campus border. There's luscious greenery and river flowing just behind the campus.

It is a well-renowned college and NAAC accredited college in West Bengal.
Placements: This is a 5 years of course including internships mandatory. Around 80% of students paas their internships in each year, and many of them opt for post graduation and house staff. The highest salary offered is Rs 30,000 per month. The minimum salary offered is Rs 20,000 per month. There are no such companies to recruiting students. There are many roles like post graduation, government jobs, private clinic, and nursing home.
Infrastructure: In many departments, there is a lack of many infrastructure and instruments. So, the students should borrow their instruments to work in the department. Classrooms are good, and air-conditioners are available. On the top floor i.e 8th, there is a library containing adequate amounts of books, and one best thing is that students can bring the books home for themselves. Hostel rooms are good but the food quality needs to be improved.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are always ready to help students in every situation. They are always guided from the very first year to the last year and internships. There are certain problems with this industry that lack of government jobs so after passing out the maximum number of students have opened their clinics. The semester exams are tough. So from the very first day, students need to be serious towards their syllabus. Maximum number of students like 80-90% have qualified in their first attempt.
Other: From my family background, I chose this course. To increase the opportunity to get a government course. There are many curricular activities and scholarship examinations. Many cultural events and festivals are conducted in this college.

Our college is good as it provides all the facilities and faculty members.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Students get recruited as lectures in government or private colleges after doing master degree, or students can pursue other courses after completion of our graduation, or they can open their own clinic. Almost 100% of students get internships after passing final year in Oral and Maxillo Facial Surgeon.
Infrastructure: The campus is very beautiful and clean. It provides smart classrooms and our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Our library has an adequate amount of books for ample knowledge. Lodging facilities are good but food quality is average. Sports and games are played regularly and intra-college as well inter-college tournaments are also held regularly to encourage students, and to encourage their sporting spirit along with their studies.
Faculty: Teachers have vast knowledge in this college. They are highly qualified and strict about their studies. The teaching quality is very good along with the teachers giving attention to each student individually both clinically and preclinically and in theory classes also for students' betterment. The semester exams are moderate. The question paper has a mixture of questions. Some are easy some are challenging. Overall, students have to study hard to get good marks on their exam papers both in internal as well as professional exams. The pass percentage is greater than 90%. They teach students well and direct them so that they can excel well in their studies.
Other: In this college, events and fests are not held.

It is a good and affordable college for a good career.
Placements: This is a renowned dental college in the state. A few days ago the college got an A grade by NAAC. Students got enough marks to get a paid housestaffship in the government hospital. They can also get good jobs including government ones through their marks and aggregate. Many students secure a good rank in NEET PG exams and also develop themselves in the research field as well.
Infrastructure: The campus is well decorated. The college buildings are also well situated. They have Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms and labs. The labs are good, but they need some upgrading. Otherwise, the clinical and preclinical labs also have good infrastructure and instrumentation. They need upgrading to match the quality of this institution. There are separate hostels for boys and girls inside the campus. Two or three students can be accommodated in one room. The food quality needs upgrading as well as proper management. There is a canteen in the hostel itself. Students can play in the huge playground. They can also play some indoor games in the common room as well.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated with good skills in clinical work as well. They are approachable as well as student-friendly to solve problems. The offline classes are necessary. Classrooms are aerated and spacious. There are three internal exams and one final university exam. Internal exams are taken by the college itself. Internals are similar to those university exams. University exams are quite easy. One can easily get enough marks to satisfy themselves.
Other: As a NEET aspirant, my first aim was to get into an MBBS college, but I got into the BDS course. You have a lot to do in this course. You'll get enough opportunities to establish your career. So don't be afraid, just choose it and Guru Nanak Dental College is best for you. There are several cultural fests and programs throughout the year. Students can participate in this and nurture their talent. The campus is connected to the city of Kolkata through railway as well as metro connectivity and also through bus connectivity.
