Absolutely recommended because of faculty, infrastructure, and extra curricular activities.
Placements: Faculties as well as campus are excellent for students overall development. Also, college provides placement for B.Com. students. Package for B.Com. students is not very high; you can expect around 3-4 LPA and with a very low percentage of recruitment.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure with every facility. Sports as well as a gym are also there. Also, the library is one of the best. They have taken care of everything that is needed for students' growth. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged with full support.
Faculty: Educated as well as most cooperative faculties. They help with academic as well as non-academic queries. All the faculties are top-qualified and are in touch with every student. They help us in every problem if we reach out to them and also focus every single student in class.
Other: Overall development can happen if active participation is done.

Review of Xavier School of Commerce, Xavier University Bhubaneswar.
Placements: About 95% of students get placements every year in good companies. They may not be dream jobs but core jobs. Top recruiters are TCS, ITC, HDFC, Axis Bank, ICICI, HUL, and many more companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and the infrastructure provided in our college are world-class, and the amenities available are Wi-Fi, a camera, a library, and a playground. The quality of food served in the mess is fine.
Faculty: Teachers in our college have too much attitude. Some faculty members are good. They help us a lot in our academics and in choosing the right path in our future. The course curriculum is relevant.

    It's a great experience. But.
Placements: The college has a seperate committee which looks after the placements. The college has 100% placements of also those students who went and SAT interviews. The college has multiple programs under it where students of all levels get placed if you have the qualifications.
Infrastructure: The college has a great infrastructure, it has recently unveiled its auditorium which has world-class equipment. The classrooms are well-equipped for any faculty. They have a huge campus with lots of greenery in and around the buildings. I had lots of common spaces to have fun with friends.
Faculty: They take academics very seriously and are very strict about the attendance of students. The faculty members are experts in their subject matters. The exams are somewhat difficult if you do not study round the year. The pass percentage is a 5.0 GPA which is quiet easy as the structure also has internal assessments.
Other: The college has many events. If you are planning to day-board then it is quite difficult to manage it. The travel time to the nearest city is 1hr .

This college is only good for study. No good campus life and also asking for money only.
Placements: 10% students were placed during last placement. Zolo stays offered the internships. Sales and marketing specialists role offered. But at the end they were not giving salaries properly to the interns even if they work according to them. Placement opportunity is not soo good.
Infrastructure: Classroom is good but the hostel mess is so small and they have taken many students for dinning. Washrooms are clean and hostel room is also good. They don't allow food inside the room and they are not allowing students to go for an outing. Always they add new rules for residing in the residence.
Faculty: The only thing good in XIM are the faculty members and course. Faculty members teach very good, also proper examination is taken. 75% attendance is compulsory otherwise they don't allow to give examination. We have very helpful and educated teachers who guides students very good.
Other: They take fees for the events but didnt organise them properly. Not allowing students to bring water and food. Also they are not providing during the whole event.

I am satisfied with teachers and good infrastructure but it has poor placements.
Placements: There is no placement cell for B.Com course. The college doesn't guarantee any placements. However, there were some on-campus placements for the previous batches, which were mostly student-driven. But no placements were offered for the batch 2020. Internships are to be done by students on their own. No companies come to the campus for the same.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. Everything like classrooms, labs and a library is well-equipped. We also have air-conditioners installed and have 24x7 Wi-Fi connectivity. However, the hostels aren't air-conditioned, but they do provide Wi-Fi connectivity. The quality of the food served in the mess is fine. There are proper medical and sports facilities too.
Faculty: The best thing about college is its course curriculum. Faculty members are knowledgeable and quite experienced. One who wants to learn will have great opportunities to learn from the faculty members as much as they can. They are supportive and are ready to help anyone who reaches them. All you need to have is your passion for learning. There are subjects like security analysis and portfolio management, which are taught taking up the live data from the market. They believe that it helps students to know the markets in real and how things happen in the industry. There are regular presentations of topics related to the course. We have industrial visits too, which helps a lot to know the industry in real.

Why should one choose Xavier University over other universities
Placements: Placement was basically off campus but the students ended getting very handsome salary from corporates like indigo, tata steel etc. As we were the second batch, placement was not guaranteed at that time. But Xaviers has a brand name and the faculty and course were fantastic which helped us to get a good job.
Infrastructure: All Xavier campus are know for there top notch infrastructure and this was no less. Starting from well-equipped hostel to the most modern computer labs and class room each and everything was of top quality and was also maintained of a daily basis. Even the quality of food was also very good.
Faculty: Our college ensured that we had best study environment and we shouldn't be worried Bout anything else other than studies. The faculty members were great and they always had sure that each is an interactive session and no one is left out. They focused more on examples and case studies rather than theory.
