MCA in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with Minor in Data Science in association with Microsoft Learning - Batch of 2025
1.8
1Placements3Infrastructure1Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Satisfied with Classroom, Lab, Washroom; Dissatisfied with Faculty, Placement, Syllabus, Canteen.
Placements: There was no placement drive arranged for the passing-out batch. Even no placement drive was arranged for my batch. Passed-out students are struggling to get placed in companies. Students are struggling to get placed in companies even after pursuing their master’s degrees.
Infrastructure: Classroom, lab, washroom, and water facilities are quite good. The classroom and lab are air-conditioned. We didn’t get any Wi-Fi access. A lift is not available for students, and we have to take the stairs to reach the cafeteria, which is on the 6th floor. Cafeteria food is costly and not pocket-friendly for students. A printing or stationery store is not available within the campus. The campus is very small.
Faculty: We had qualified teachers, but most of them are not experienced. They do not know how to teach students. They just go on explaining PowerPoint presentations. Teachers are not helpful. They just focus on completing their tasks, for example, focus on completing portions and rubrics. The syllabus doesn’t have subjects to improve skills and make students industry-ready. By only teaching theories and asking us to develop advanced-level projects based on that, we don’t even have any practical knowledge.
Other: Placement drives with IT companies should be provided. Industry-specific skills need to be taught. Experienced teachers need to be hired. UG students have Coursera and Wi-Fi access. Even we need it. The canteen should be more student-friendly. Most of the students just eat egg puffs and adjust their hunger. PG level should be separated, as we didn’t get any role. Only UG students are preferred. PG should have a Student Council and should get responsibilities. Proper funding from the college should be provided to conduct the fest.
