Mystory@Kulbhushan Ojha

College life was a fun-filled experience for me and gave me the best memories that I cherish even today. I spent nearly 5 years in the same college – Don Bosco College of Science and Management in the Commerce stream; 2 years of pre-university followed by 3 years of Bachelor’s in Commerce.

I learnt a lot from my college life and I apply these learnings in my professional life as well. I found the courses motivating and discussing certain interesting topics in the classes along with conducting seminars also gave me a forum to address my classmates and juniors. As the Student Union President, I was in-charge of all college events. Even now, I visit my college on every Independence Day (15 August) to address all the students and motivate them for their future career.

College education is extremely important and the knowledge gained here is always applied in the workplace. Education gives us a platform to be up-to-date with the world and also to survive in the toughest of the competitive situations. Pursuing higher education has changed my entire career making me bold and capable of facing any difficult situation that comes my way. I believe that when we are confident and well-versed with our learnings, we can achieve anything in this world.

Flipkart is a platform that has shaped my career in an altogether different way than that I had imagined when I was in college. Here, I started working as a Customer Care Representative and graduated to being a Supervisor in the same company. I was then promoted as a Trainer followed by a Sr. L& D Associate. I have been associated with this organisation for 4 years now and plan to continue my service here for as long as possible as I feel that this company gives me lot of opportunities to shape my career.

Though becoming an author was never my plan and never did I think about it in the early stage of my career, a few of my life instances made me to think about taking up writing as a hobby. I started writing just because I felt like sharing my stories with people, hear their stories and also give guidance to them.

I took up writing not to gain fame but to bring out my own talent in writing. I also take it as an opportunity to be successful in my life even if am not working in any organisation. It just gives me a different feel when I pen down my thoughts and give it a shape of a book so that people too get connected with my thoughts and gain learnings to be applied in their daily life, especially tough times.

The books that I have published so far are:

  1. Journey of love to Life
  2. I hate Love you (currently in process)
