Life In Presidency Of A Student.
Placements: The average was 4 LPA, and around 70 percent got placed. The companies were good, like Dell and Accenture, and many others which offer a good package to us. The percentage of students who got internships is 80-90%, and the roles offered are junior assistant, junior developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good, like labs and classrooms, which are well updated to current technology, and we do have a good library. We also got sports and a canteen in our college, which is quite decent, and they are upgrading it to a big one. The hostel is also good, in neat condition.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and supportive, and they are well knowledgeable and qualified. The quality of teaching is also good. This course, yes, it does make students industry-ready; they focus on all this only. The semester exams are not very tough because of the teaching quality and methods, and the pass percentage is 100 percent.
Other: I picked this course because of my technical liking.

Overall, it is the best college for MBA course.
Placements: Almost 85% of students from my 2021 batch were offered jobs in top recruiting organizations like Amazon, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, and DE Shaw & Co. Generally, the average salary package offered will be around 15 LPA - 20 LPA with the highest being way up to 30 LPA. Our college had an active outreach team that worked hard to provide us with internships and other career opportunities. The top roles offered are sales manager, data analytics, and more.
Infrastructure: More than 3,000 students might be accommodated in the hostels on site. For a monthly charge of Rs. 2,000, students could stay in ten dormitory structures. There is a mess in every dormitory where students could get food. It was a good-quality dish. The menu is rotating and is never changed.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive of all students who are eager to learn new subjects. They are qualified to deliver the courses and effectively transfer the knowledge to students. The teaching is excellent, and the students are prepared to do the tasks in practice. Semester exams are a bit tougher, and the pass rate is 61%.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of no placements and no proper guidance.
Placements: In this college, there are proper placements. The company provides placement, which is not exciting and there is no proper guidance. They won't provide you with anything you need to search for jobs for your purpose. I will give a 1-star rating for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but the Wi-Fi is not so good. The classrooms are also good, and the library is also good. You can also study there during college hours. Some of the management won't support your skills and placement. There is a canteen in college that is clean and healthy. There are no medical facilities, no proper games and no sports area in the college.
Faculty: In this college, the teaching is good; there is a doubt-clearing section, but they will teach you with real-time examples. The curriculum will change according to the present trend. The exam conducted will be strict and equal. The semester exams are not to difficult; they are easy .
Other: I have a bachelor's degree, and I want to improve my studies, so I chose a master's. I chose this college because there was no alternative for me, as every college was filled at the time of my admission. Events, festivals, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are available at this college .

Really an average college; takes the *** out of you if attendance is less.
Placements: Placement from Presidency College is really average. Companies like TCS and Infosys do come, but the package offered is really less. The highest package would go around 12-14 LPA, which is for the Masters students, and the minimum package would be around 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Never really tried the food from the mess and canteen. Sports and games are not okay. Attendance is the worst part of this college. Kalopsia happens every 4 years, which is kind of exciting. Additionally, they don't give you holidays during festivals too.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but non-cooperative in case of attendance. They are knowledgeable and hold a really good grip on the subjects they teach. It does make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult. If you can just read what was taught at revision classes, you can easily score above 80%.

Absolutely Satisfied with Presidency College.
Placements: About 93% of students in my course were placed, with the highest package at 12 LPA and the lowest at 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Accenture, Dell, Target, and Deloitte. The top roles offered were App Developer, Data Analyst, and Technical Analyst.
Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi, 3-4 labs, AC, a library, basketball and football grounds, a seminar hall, an auditorium, and a dedicated parking area for students. Hostel facilities and the mess food quality are nice; I would rate the mess food 4/5. The canteen food is outstanding, deserving 5/5. Medical facilities and sports amenities are also provided.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. Semester exams aren’t difficult if you focus on your classes and study well, with a pass percentage of 97%.
Other: I chose BCA because I’m interested in computer IT and programming. Everything about the college was perfect. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are all well-organized. The college has even invited well-known celebrities to its fests and events.

Presidency College Analysis.
Placements: 75% students are placed in this college. Top companies are Wipro, Cloud9, Cognizant, TCS, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, ANZ Bank, Goldman Sachs, Concentrix, Capgemini, and Karvy. In 2023, the average package was INR 5.21 LPA, with the highest package of INR 13.58 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is unfortunately not very impressive. The campus is very small. A very few places to even hang around. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned, though. Can do much better. Overall, a cozy atmosphere. Basketball court is available, but no other sports can be played.
Faculty: Faculty is good enough. Good teaching experience in general. The accounts faculty should improve and become more responsible. Teaching faculty is very kind and helpful. Generally positive, with students and alumni praising the faculty members for their support, attentiveness, and qualifications.
Other: The fest was hyped a lot but could have done much better. Felt like it almost failed. Somehow found the best people here, though.

Q:   What is the seat intake for BCA at Presidency College?

A:

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme at Presidency College in Bangalore seems to involve a two-step process, starting with merit-based selection and followed by a telephonic interview and a subsequent personal interview.

Here are some processes and criteria to be eligible for the BCA course:

Admission Process:

  1. Merit-Based Selection:

    • The initial step involves selecting candidates based on merit in the qualifying examination. This likely refers to the academic performance of candidates based on their previous educational qualifications, such as the 10+2 level or an equivalent.
  2. Telephonic Interview:

    • Shortlisted candidates undergo a telephonic interview. This step is often used to assess a candidate's communication skills, motivation for pursuing the BCA program, and understanding of the field.
  3. Personal Interview:

    • Candidates who successfully cleared the telephonic interview then called for a personal interview. The personal interview provides an opportunity for the university to evaluate the candidate's suitability for the BCA programme in more depth. It may cover topics such as the candidate's academic background, career goals, and relevant skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Valid BCA or Equivalent Degree:

    • Candidates must possess a valid Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree or an equivalent qualification. This indicates that the programme is designed for candidates who have already pursued a related undergraduate degree.
