Mystory@Monika Midha: How I made my career – Challenges and successes
I got married 13 years ago and since my husband did not want me to work, I spent many years as a homemaker. But after seven years of my marriage, I decided to work again and joined a school as a teacher, as PRT (Maths) at Dips (Kpt).Soon I decided to study further and after about 1.5 years I joined MGN College of Education for regular B Ed. After completing the course, l joined the school again.
When I decided to resume my studies, I had to face difficulties due to gap years between my studies. But finally I got admission in college as a regular student and managed to continue my studies.
Six months ago, I completed my M Com from KMV and my experience as a student (once again) has been wonderful. I was the senior most student in my college and my class mates thought I joined college as a lecturer. I enjoyed each and every moment spent in the college with my class mates and teachers. There were many seminars and workshops in our course. And they were really beneficial for us.
