SRCC Placement 2020: Average salary increases to Rs 9.48 LPA

As compared to 7.62 LPA last year, the year 2020 recorded 9.48 LPA as the average salary offered to the students who participated in SRCC placement 2020.

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) wrapped up its first phase of campus placement for the batch 2019-20. 32 recruiters participated in the placement drive of the Delhi University’s premier college that offered job roles to 130 students. SRCC Placement 2020 witnessed a significant increase in the average salary offered to students. As compared to 7.62 LPA last year, the year 2020 recorded 9.48 LPA as the average salary offered to the students who participated in the placement drive.

Apart from the recruiters who participate every year, many top recruiters participated in the placement drive for the first time. Top recruiters from the FMCG, consulting, and e-commerce sectors participated in the SRCC placement drive. Marico, Zilingo, RedSeer, and Gartner also participated for the first time this year and received an enthusiastic response from the students.

Placement season experiences an intense fight for talent, companies such as Nomura, Citi Bank, JSW, MicroSave, Deutsche Bank, and others offered PPOs to selected candidates while resorting for summer internship hiring.

During the first phase of SRCC placement 2020, consulting firms emerged as major recruiters with 53 percent of students being appointed by one of the consulting companies.

Talking about the placement drive, SRCC Placement Cell’s student coordinator expressed that the college is continuously trying to improve the employment opportunities for the enrolled students. Upgradation in offered profiles, an increase in average salary, and quality of recruiters that participated in the placement drive are good indications of the improvement.

SRCC is one of the best colleges of Delhi University that places great talents in top companies. A major chunk of the university also goes further for higher studies and makes it to one of the IIMs.
