NATA 2021 - The Council of Architecture (SoA) has released the NATA 2021 application form on March 5 for both the exams. Candidates will be able to fill the application form of NATA 2021 by clicking on the link given below.

The CoA will conduct the NATA 2021 exam twice. The first NATA 2021 exam will be conducted on April 10, 2021, and the second exam will be conducted on June 12, 2021. To apply for both sessions of NATA, candidates are required to fill separate application forms.
The admit card of NATA 2021 for the two attempts will be released separately, 10-15 days prior to the scheduled exam date. Candidates can appear in one or both the attempts of NATA 2021. For candidates appearing in both attempts, their best of the two scores will be considered.
Since 2019, the exam is being conducted twice a year. National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level undergraduate exam conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to a five-year BArch programme offered by government colleges, government-aided colleges, private unaided colleges, and universities of the country.
There will be two parts in the NATA 2021 question paper. The first part containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be conducted online, while Part B (Drawing test) will be held in offline mode. NATA 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for the entrance exam need to fulfill the below-mentioned NATA 2021 eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities:
Qualifications:
- The candidates who have passed the 10+2 level examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination are eligible to appear in NATA 2021.
- Candidates who have passed the 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to appear for the exam.
- The candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination with PCM or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2021, subject to fulfilling the above criteria.
- The candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL category or PwD (Persons with a disability) shall be provided with a relaxation of 5% marks in total aggregate in 10+2 level/10+3 Diploma as well as PCM.
Subjects in class 12: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects.
Art Stream Candidates: Candidates with art stream are also eligible if they have qualified PCM subjects conducted by CBSE.
Age limit: There are no age limit criteria to apply for the exam.

Candidates will be required to follow the below-mentioned steps to fill and submit the application form of NATA 2021:
Step-1: Registration: Candidates will be required to register themselves before filling the application form online. Nata 2021 registration will be done by submitting the details such as name, mobile number, date of birth, and valid email id. Applicants will also require to choose a username and create a password for future log-ins.
Step-2: Login: To fill the application form, applicants will need to log in again using their username and password and after that enter all the necessary information such as personal, communication, and academic. Candidates also have to choose three exam centres in order of their preference.
Step-3: Uploading Scanned Images of Documents: All students need to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature and community certificate (if applicable) in the format specified below.

Step-4: Application Number Generation: After uploading the documents, candidates have to submit the application form. On submission of the NATA 2021 application form, an 8-digit application number will be generated and sent to them on their registered mail id.
Step-5: Pay Application Fee: Prescribed application fee will need to be paid in online mode (credit/debit card, or net banking).

NATA 2021 Exam Pattern for Drawing Test
Given below are the aspects on which a candidate will be is judged:
- Ability to sketch a given object proportionately and rendering the same in a visually appealing manner
- Visualising and drawing the effects of light on the object and shadows cast on surroundings
- Sense of perspective drawing
- Combining and composing given three-dimensional elements to form a building or structural form
- Creating interesting two-dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms
- Creating visual harmony using colours in a given composition
- Understanding of scale and proportions
- Drawing from memory through pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences
NATA 2021 Admit Card
The admit card of NATA 2021 will be released separately by the CoA for the two sessions. The dates for issuing of NATA 2021 Admit Cards for both sessions has been announced and can be checked above. Candidates will need to log in using their application number and date of birth to download the NATA 2021 admit card. The admit card will carry information including the name of the candidate, address of the exam centre, admit card number, etc. Candidates must keep the NATA 2021 admit card 2021 safe as, without it, they will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam. The admit card will also be required in NATA 2021 counselling and admission process.

NATA 2021 Result
NATA 2021 result will be released online. CoA will release the result within 5 days after the conclusion of the exam. The exact schedule for the result declaration of both Session-1 and Session-2 of NATA 2021 can be checked above. To check the result, candidates will be required to log in to the official portal using their application number and date of birth. NATA 2021 result/scorecard will carry details like paper-wise marks, total marks, and also the qualifying status. It will also carry details such as the candidate’s name, gender, DOB, category, application, and roll number.
NATA 2021 Counselling
There will be no common counselling for NATA 2021. CoA will only conduct the entrance exam and no common counselling procedure will be held. The universities/colleges and states offering BArch programmes will hold their separate counselling and provide admissions based on scores obtained by candidates in NATA 2021. Institutes will conduct their separate counselling soon after the announcement of the NATA 2021 result.
