AAT 2025 cutoff will not be separately released. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will prepare and release the JoSAA 2025 cutoff, which will also consist of the opening and closing ranks for BArch admission into the participating IITs. While preparing the AAT/JoSAA cutoff 2025. the authorities will consider various factors related to the entrance exam and admission process. However, those candidates who meet the JoSAA/AAT 2025 cutoff are not guaranteed admission. These candidates will have higher chances of admission into their preferred colleges. Q:   Will AAT cutoff be available?

A:

No. The authorities will not release any separate AAT cutoff online. The responsible authorities of JoSAA will prepare the AAT cutoffs for the common counselling process. AAT candidates will be able to check their cutoffs through the JoSAA cutoffs. While preparing the JoSAA/AAT cutoff, the authorities will consider various factors related to the entrance examination and admission process.

Yes. The AAT cutoff will be differ as per the category and college selected by the candidates. Various factors will be considered to determine the AAT cutoff of the corresponding college and category. The cutoff of General category is expected to be higher than the reserved category. Similarly, the cutoff of the colleges will depend on the number of applicants for admission.

AAT cutoff will be prepared by the Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced. The cutoff is prepared to determine the minimum marks that the candidates will have to secure in AAT to be considered qualified and eligible for the counselling and admission process. While preparing the AAT cutoff, the authorities will check various factors related to the entrance exam such as previous year trends, number of applicants, difficulty level of exam and more.

Candidates who qualified for JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced can participate in JoSAA 2025. The JoSAA 2025 seat allotment results will be released in online mode after every round. Candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit, preferences, and availability of seats. After the declaration of the seat allotment results, JoSAA releases cutoffs separately for every round. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release Rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5 cutoffs on the official website at josaa.nic.in.

AAT 2024 Counselling

No separate counselling will be held for AAT candidates. All qualified candidates will have to participate in the JoSAA 2024 counselling process. During the counselling registration, the candidates will have to fill out their choice of colleges as per their preference. JoSAA 2024 seat allocation will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences, category and seat availability. After the seats are allotted, the candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date. If the candidates are unable to confirm their admission before the final date, then they will be disqualified.

Q:   How many rounds are there in JoSAA Counselling?

A:

JoSAA counselling is usually held in 5 or 6 rounds. The admission process for admissions in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 40 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) will be done by JoSAA in various rounds deending on various factors. In these rounds, candidates are allotted seats based on their JEE Main or JEE Advanced rank and preferences filled by them during registration. Candidates who are allotted seats have to either accept or float the seat.

The various processes involved in JoSAA 2025 counselling are registration, choice filling, seat allocation, and online reporting. JoSAA counselling is conducted for admission to BE/B.Tech courses offered by the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. JoSAA counselling 2025 will be conducted online in five rounds. Qualified candidates of JEE Main will be eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, while students who qualify for JEE Advanced will be eligible for admission to IITs.

The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) established the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) to oversee and control joint seat allocation for admissions to more than 100 institutes, including Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs), NITs, IIITs, and IITs. The approximate date of the JoSAA 2024 registration period was released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The anticipated start date is June 10, 2024. To view the JoSAA seat allocation outcome, students must take the actions listed below:

Visit the official website i.e. josaa.nic.in.

Click on the “View Seat Allotment Result” link.

Enter JEE Main/JEE Advanced 2024 application number, password and security pin.

Click on “Login”.

JoSAA 2024 seat allotment results will be displayed on the screen.

The Ashoka Aptitude Test is conducted in several sessions at different times throughout the year. It is advisable that candidates start preparing for the entrance exam at least two months is advance. For instance, if your exam is to be conducted in December, you should start preparations in October.

The JEE Advanced AAT is required for admission to BArch programs at IIT Varanasi, IIT Roorkee, and IIT Kharagpur. To gain admission to architecture at any of these IITs, candidates must first qualify for JEE Main, followed by JEE Advanced, and then pass the AAT.
