Q:   Will CoA release the NATA question papers?

A:

CoA has not yet released the official NATA question papers. However, if released, the candidates will be able to access the NATA question papers here. The questions asked in the examination can be checked by the candidates to review their answers. NATA question papers will be prepared by the authorities and will be based on the official syllabus. Through the question paper of NATA, the candidates will be assessed on their aptitude and reasoning skills. 

Q:   How is the NATA question paper prepared?

A:

NATA question paper is prepared by the authorities after referring to the official syllabus. The authorities prepare the NATA question paper to assess the candidates on their aptitude and reasoning skills. Candidates are advised to check and refer to the syllabus carefully to be well prepared for the questions prepared by the candidates for the entrance examination. NATA question paper will consist of various types of questions such as Multiple-Choice type (MCQ), Multiple Select type (MSQ), Preferential Choice type (PCQ) and Numerical Answer type (NAQ). 

Q:   What type of questions will be present in the NATA paper?

A:

NATA paper will be prepared to assess the aptitude of the candidates for BArch admissions. Within the 3 hour duration, the candidates will have to attempt a total of 48 questions. NATA questions will be Multiple-Choice type (MCQ), Drawing and Composition. The question paper will be prepared so that the candidates can be assessed on basic concepts in mathematics, Physics and Geometry, language and interpretation, elements and principles of design, aesthetic sensitivity, colour theory, lateral thinking and logical reasoning, visual perception and cognition, graphics and imagery, building anatomy and architectural vocabulary, basic techniques of building construction and knowledge of material, general knowledge and Current Affairs etc. and may not be limited to those outlined.

Q:   What is the NATA response sheet?

A:

NATA response sheet consists of the answers submitted by the candidates during the examination. The authorities release the NATA response sheet, to allow the candidates to know what their individual responses were to the question paper. However, the candidates will have to pay INR 3,000 to check and download the response sheet. The authorities have released the NATA response sheet along with the answer key. Candidates can use the NATA answer key and response sheet to calculate their probable scores secured in the entrance examination. 

Q:   What is the importance of the previous NATA question papers?

A:

Through the NATA question papers, the candidates will be able to review the questions and check the correct answers. This will allow the candidates to assess the questions and calculate their probable scores that they have secured in the entrance examination. Students who are preparing for the upcoming entrance examination can also use the previous year papers to boost their preparation and understand how the examination will be held by the authorities.

Q:   How to check NATA response sheet?

A:

NATA response sheet will be available online at nata.in. Candidates will have to click on the response sheet link and provide their application number and test password. After logging in, the candidates will have to select the candidate response tab. To access the candidate response sheet of NATA, the candidates will be required to pay INR 3,000 online I. e. , through net banking/credit card/debit card. After the fee is paid, the response sheet will be made available for the candidates. The response sheet can be downloaded for future use.

Q:   How are the sections divided in the NATA 2025 question paper?

A:

NATA 2025 will consist of two sections. The first section will be held as an offline test and will consist of drawing and composition questions. The second section will have multiple choice questions. The questions will be prepared to assess the candidate's basic conceptual knowledge in the various subjects that are important in the architectural field. A total of 48 questions will be present in the NATA question paper.

Students who have NATA score of more than 150 or JEE Main Paper-II percentile equal to more than 90 are eligible for 40% waiver. The total tuition fee for Chandigarh University BArch is INR 10.54 lakh. After a waiver of 40%, students have to pay an amount of INR 6.32 lakh.
