ABBS Fosters a Culture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, says R.V.N.L. Manogna
Hello! My name is R.V.N.L. Manogna, and I am an MBA student specializing in Business Analytics at ABBS. Additionally, I am pursuing a Cost and Management Accountant course. My academic journey began with a B.Com (Hons) degree from AMM Degree College in Andhra Pradesh. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, and perfecting my skills in badminton. I am passionate about Finance and HR, and I aspire to make a meaningful impact in these fields.
Q1. How did you choose your course of study in school (class XI-XII)? What made you choose an MBA at Acharya Bangalore Business School (ABBS)?
Choosing my course of study in school during classes XI and XII was a pivotal decision that set the foundation for my academic journey. I opted for the MEC (Mathematics, Economics, and Commerce) stream with a clear objective in mind – to pursue professional courses like Chartered Accountancy (CA) and Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA). My decision to select the MEC stream was based on extensive research and careful consideration of my career goals. I recognized that a strong foundation in subjects like Mathematics, Economics, and Commerce would be instrumental in my pursuit of a career in finance and accounting. These subjects not only provided the requisite knowledge but also developed critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, which are essential in the financial world.
The MEC stream provided me with a comprehensive understanding of financial concepts, economic principles, and commercial practices, laying the groundwork for my eventual enrollment in the CMA course, which I am currently pursuing alongside my MBA in Business Analytics. When it came to choosing my current college and post-graduate course at ABBS (Acharya Bangalore B-School), I considered several factors. ABBS stood out for its reputation, particularly in the field of Business Analytics, which aligned perfectly with my academic and career interests. The college's emphasis on practical learning, guest lectures, and its commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and innovation further convinced me that it was the right choice for my post-graduate studies.
