AKTU term-end exams 2021: Varsity warns students against FAKE NEWS

There are several reports surfacing over the internet highlighting AKTU exams 2021 guidelines. Warning against such reports, AKTU recently posted a tweet calling all such reports fake.

AKTU Term-end Exams 2021: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) recently released the proposed schedule for the term-end examinations, except the final year semester. Considering the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the University decided to conduct objective-type exams via online mode, an AKTU official said. Talking about the conduct of exams, controller of exams, AKTU, Professor Anurag Tripathi said, "This time all the exams will be held in online mode. Students may appear in the examination from a place of their convenience be it from their home, cyber cafe or institute campus. Students may use any devices such as laptop, smartphone and desktop computer to write the examination.”

The professor further added that the term-end exams of first, second and third-year students would start from August 3 and will conclude by the first week of September. Except for final year, the timetable of all other semester examinations has been issued today, he said. Students who are supposed to appear for AKTU exams can get complete information about the examination schedule by visiting the website of the university, i.e. www.aktu.ac.in.

The varsity also informed that it has not released any such exam guidelines yet. "Some fake news are being circulated in social media about exam guidelines. We have not issued any such thing. Meanwhile, reports suggest that AKTU students are not happy with the examinations being conducted as many of the colleges have not completed their syllabus. They said colleges are running online classes irrespective of the fact whether students are able to grasp whatever is being taught to them, besides online classes that often face glitches such as poor connectivity leads to audio loss.

The students are demanding University first complete the syllabus and then conduct exams. Many students are against online examinations, but the university has decided to go ahead with online examinations as mandated by the UP technical education department in its order.
