Amazon Web Services (AWS) Selects ASM CSIT Student as Cloud Ambassador

July 28, 2020: In times of global economic crisis due to Coronavirus outbreak, a ASM CSIT student has been selected as a Cloud Ambassador by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Sanjana Tiwary, a second-year BSc Computer student was competing with millions of students from more than 250 higher education institutions across 50 countries. Along with Tiwary, 326 other students have also been selected ASM (CSIT) College of Commerce, Science and Information Technology.

The AWS Programme brings real-life opportunities to students while helping their peers build professional AWS expertise and building successful cloud careers. The student ambassadors are offered a variety of benefits that enable them to obtain the required professional qualifications for today's competitive employment market. ASM Group of Institutes recently collaborated with Amazon Web Services in integrating cloud services for MBA and PGDM students in emerging technology.

ASM CSIT BCom course is offered in full-time mode lasting for three years. Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is spread across six semesters and covers essential subjects such as accounting, finance, economics, business law, and management. The placements at ASM CSIT for the BCom course are good. The highest salary package offered by ASM CSIT was INR 3 LPA during 2019 placements. Top companies are Capgemini, TCS, Amazon Development Centre, Infosys, Wipro, Syntel, Oracle, and ICICI Prudential, among others.
