BVDU offers several Nursing specialisations, across the streams of Science, Nursing, Medical Science, among others. Most of these MSc specialisations are offered in a full-time mode for a duration of two years. Interested candidates can read below to get more details regarding BVDU MSc admission 2021:

BVDU MSc Admission 2021

BVDU MSc admission is based on all India Common Entrance Test (CET), conducted by BVDU. The duration of all these MSc specialisations is two years, spread across a semester pattern. Candidates can check out the specialisation-specific eligibility details in the below table before applying:

Passed a BSc (Chemistry) degree from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates)

Microbiology

Passed BSc degree from any recognised university with Microbiology as a main/ Hons subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates), or

Passed BSc degree from any recognised university with Botany/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Environmental science as a major subject and Microbiology as a subsidiary subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates)

Computer Science

Passed BSc (Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology) from any recognised institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates)

Environment Science & Technology

Passed a bachelor's degree in any Science subject, such as Botany/ Zoology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Geology/ Geography/ Life Sciences/ Environment Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Fisheries/ Marine Biology/ Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Computer Science/ Data Science/ Veterinary Science/ Health Sciences with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates), or

Passed a bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering or any relevant Social Science subjects and Management Studies with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates)

Biotechnology

Passed BSc degree from any recognised university or its equivalent examination in any of the subjects, including Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Agriculture/ Life Sciences/ Chemistry/ Zoology/ Botany with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates)

- Information Technology

- Advance Information Technology

Passed a BSc degree in Information Technology/ Computer Applications/ Computer Science with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates)

In the field of Nursing, the varsity offers around seven MSc specialisations with a course duration of two years. Candidates are shortlisted for these MSc Nursing specialisations based on candidate's performance in MSc Nursing 2021 exam, conducted by the Deemed University, followed by a seat allotment-cum-counselling round. More details around these MSc Nursing specialisations are enlisted below:

MSc (Nursing) Specialisation

Eligibility Criteria: Passed BSc Nursing/ BSc (Hons) Nursing/ Post-Basic BSc Nursing from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates). Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing
Registration Council. 

- Candidates also need to possess a minimum of one year of work experience after  Post-Basic BSc Nursing

Medical-Surgical Nursing (6 seats)

Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing (5 seats)

Community Health Nursing (5 seats)

Mental Health Nursing (5 seats)

Psychiatric Nursing (4 seats)

Child Health Nursing (5 seats)

Paediatric Nursing (5 seats)

The varsity offers seven MSc specialisations in the field of Medical Sciences with three seats per specialisation. The duration of all the MSc Medical Sciences specialisations (except Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology) is three years and the total fee for the same is Rs 2.25 lakh. However, the duration of MSc Audiology and MSc Speech-Language Pathology is four semesters (two academic years) and should be completed within four years from the date of admission. Eligibility Criteria: Passed BSc degree with at least one of the following subjects, including Zoology/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ BPharmacology with a minimum of 50% aggregate, or

Passed a bachelor's degree in any branch of Health Sciences with a minimum of 50% aggregate

Eligibility Criteria: Passed a BASLP or BSc (Speech & Hearing) degree of any University recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India or any other degree considered as equivalent thereto with an aggregate of not less than 55% aggregate

BVDU Application Process 2021

BVDU application process is conducted in online mode through the official website of the Deemed University. Candidates can apply by filling the application form online and paying a course-specific application fee using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking. Candidates can check out the below-mentioned steps to complete the application process in online mode:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Deemed University (www.bvuniversity.edu.in).

Step 2: Click on 'Apply Online for Admissions'.

Step 3: Choose a course and click on 'Apply'.

Step 4: Fill the registration form and log in using your email id and password.

Step 5: Upload passport-size photograph and scanned signature.

Step 6: Pay course-specific application fee* online via debit/credit cards or net banking.

Step 7: Print confirmation page after a successful transaction.

*Entrance test fee that has to be paid along with completed online application form for each of the BVDU courses is enlisted below:
