Dr D Y Patil Centre for Online Learning (also known as DPU COL) is a premier centre for online and distance education and is a part of the Institute of Distance Learning (IDL), Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth. DPU COL is a constituent unit of Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune (Deemed-to-be University) and has been approved by the Distance Education Council of India (DEC) on the recommendation of a Joint Committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC, New Delhi. Dr D Y Patil University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ Grade.
DPU COL’s online degree programmes have been established considering the need of the modern learning community as well as the requisite knowledge and skills that are demanded by the relevant industry across the world. DPU-COL introduces live remote proctored exams from home for easy access of the students. The Centre offers online BBA at UG and online MBA at PG level in a variety of specialisations such as Marketing, International Business, Human Resource, Finance, Hospital & Healthcare, Logistics & Sppluy Chain Management, etc

D Y Patil Centre for Online Learning admission process is conducted in online mode. Admission to all the online programmes is merit-based. Candidates must fill the application form available online on the official website. Upon verification of the candidates’ eligibility, they are informed about the selection via email address or call. Candidates are required to submit the relevant documents required to confirm the process of admission as attested copies for verification, such as: Passing certificate of the qualifying exam (either HSC or bachelor's/ master's degree as the case may be), statement of marks at the qualifying examination and migration certificate (only for candidates passing bachelor's/ master's degree from other universities).
UG Courses
- Final admission to online BBA is based on merit in the last qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent)
PG Courses
- MBA (online) admission is based on the scores obtained in graduation
- Candidate must be a graduate in any stream from a recognised institute/university
Additional Courses
- For candidates belonging to reserved categories, a relaxation of 5% is offered in the merit at the time of admission
