Exams will also be conducted in online or offline mode (pen and paper mode) or based on assignment exercises depending on the coronavirus situation in the state. Diwali vacation will be of 12 days this year from November 6 to November 18. The academic session has to be finished by July 2021.

The state government has released a new set of guidelines while keeping in mind the coronavirus crisis and how it has affected the educational institutions for over six months now. Universities can start conducting classes on a pilot basis from October 15 onwards in batches of 15-20 students, sources said.

There will be 30 per cent weightage for internal assessment while 70 per cent will be for the scores of University-level exams.
