IGNOU permits students to register for early results if the student has been chosen for higher study/employment and statement of marks/grade card is prerequisite to be produced to the organisation by a certain date.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) December term end exam result has been announced for students who had chosen to get the early exam result. The result can be checked and downloaded from the official website of IGNOU - ignou.ac.in. IGNOU permits students to register for early results if the student has been chosen for higher study/employment and statement of marks/grade card is prerequisite to be produced to the organisation by a certain date, which is before the suggested dates of announcement of the University's results.   • Visit the official website of IGNOU – ignou.ac.in
  • Scroll down, in the left corner, you will see news and announcements section
  • Click on the red link
  • Click on the link titled “Click here for details”
  • It will take you to a new page
  • Fill your 9 digit enrolment number and submit
  • Download the admit card and take a print out of the result for future requirements

In the meantime, the admission process for IGNOU's January 2020 session has been stretched till February 15. This is the third instance when the admission deadline has been prolonged. The biggest Open University of the world offers postgraduate, undergraduate, diploma, certificate, and research courses. The courses are offered in two sessions – January and July. In December this year, candidates who have taken admission in the January session will appear for their first examination.

In February, the annual convocation of IGNOU will take place for those candidates who have completed their courses in December-2018/ June-2019 term-end examinations and are eligible for award of the original certificate. A date for the convocation to be held is yet to be announced by the university, however, February 17 is said to be the tentative date for convocation. Candidates are meant to register for the convocation and for doing this, the last date for registration is February 5.
