IGNOU Admission 2025: January Session Registration Begins for ODL Courses, Apply By Jan 31
IGNOU January 2025 registration is ongoing till January 31, 2025 in online mode at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in for Open and Distance Learning programmes.
Indira Gandhi National Open University has started the IGNOU 2025 January session admission. Students willing to apply for IGNOU registration 2025 for ODL programmes can now fill the application form online till January 31, 2025. The IGNOU 2025 online registration link is activated at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
IGNOU offers distance learning education for students who are willing to study through distance mode. Students are suggested not to wait for IGNOU 2025 registration last date and to apply at the earliest to avoid last-minute discrepancies.

IGNOU Admission 2025: Important Detail
Students willing to fill the IGNOU admission form 2025 need to create their DEB ID. The DEB ID is mandatory for the submission of the application. Further, eligible students can also apply for government of India scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in once the admission is confirmed.

Students have to follow the below steps to fill IGNOU 2025 application form:
- Visit the official website - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
- Click on the 'IGNOU registration' link displayed on the screen
- Add the required personal and basic academic details to complete the initial registration
- Select a username and create a strong password
- Login with the allotted credentials to fill IGNOU 2025 application form.
- Make payment of the IGNOU 2025 registration fee and submit the application form.
Students need to keep their documents i.e. scanned photograph, scanned signature, scanned copy of relevant educational qualification, scanned copy of experience certificate and scanned copy of category certificate ready to fill their application form.

Here are few things that students will recieve after taking admission in IGNOU:
- Once a students get admission into IGNOU, he or she will recieve the enrollment number and ID for future login to the samarth portal of the university.
- Based on the choice made by the candidate while filling the application form, he or she will then recieve the study material. Soft copy is available on the official website of the university.
- Registered students also recieve a mail from the regional or study centre for counselling. It is an induction ceremony where the course is introduced to the students.
- A schedule of classes is also shared through mail. For any query regarding classes, students must contact their study centre.

IGNOU admission is conducted in two cycles, i.e. January and July. While the registrations for the January session generally get over in March, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) admission for the July session opens in June and remains open till Jul-Aug and sometimes even till September. The admissions are mainly based on the aggregate obtained by candidates in the last qualifying degree. Students who were not able to take admission in the January batch are open for admission in the July batch. Hence, the answer is almost yes.
