Kerala University Admissions 2021: School of Distance Education, University of Kerala, Kariavattom Campus, Thiruvananthapuram-695581, has commenced the admission application process for various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) Distance Programmes for 2021-22 academic session. Kerala University offers various UG, PG programs- Under Graduate Programmes [6 Semesters (3 Years)]: BA Economics; BA English; BA Hindi; BA History; BA Malayalam; BA Political Science; BA Sociology; BCom (Finance / Co-operation / Computer Application); BBA; BLISc (2 Semesters) (1 Year).
Post Graduate Programmes [4 Semesters (2 Years)]: MA Economics, MA English, MA Hindi, MA History, MA Malayalam, MA Political Science, MA Sociology, MCom (Finance), MA Public Administration, MLISc (2 Semesters) (1 Year). Candidates interested in Kerala University admissions can download the detailed prospectus containing the eligibility for admission from the official website on the university at http://www.ideku.net/. Online registration for the UG, PG programs can be done at www.ideku.net or www.sde.keralauniversity.ac.in. Candidates must note that the last date to register online is latest by December 15, 2021. Hard copy of the application should reach the office of the School of Distance Education on or before December 15, 2021, preferably by Registered/Speed Post.
The official notice released by the University reads, “UG candidates whose qualifying examination certificate is from other State Boards/NIOS should obtain eligibility certificate from Kerala University before registering online.” It further added, “PG candidates whose qualifying examination certificate is from a University other than Kerala University should take eligibility certificate from Kerala University before registering online.”
“Applicants belonging to SC/ST/OEC/OBC-H category and eligible for fee concession should produce the print out of E-grants on-line application for fee concession from Akshaya Kendra, along with a copy of SSLC, Plus Two and Degree certificates, Original caste and income certificates, copy of Aadhaar card and copy of bank passbook. The students eligible for fee concession are advised to visit www.e-grantz.kerala.gov.in for submitting application for e-grants,” the notice reads.
