KSLU Results 2020: Semester, Evaluation, Revaluation

Karnataka State Law University, also known as KSLU is an Indian state-level university located at Navnagar. The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited with an “A” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University is also a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

KSLU semester results for UG, PG, doctorate and diploma programmes were declared on the official website. The exams were conducted in December. The University follows a semester pattern for all UG and PG courses. Exams for odd semesters were conducted in November/ December whereas, the exams for even semesters were conducted in May/ June. The examination results are usually declared within 30 working days from the completion of the last exam.

KSLU Results 2020

The University has released results for UG, PG, doctorate and PG diploma programmes, including BA LLB, BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB , BBA LLB (Hons), LLB, LLM and PhD. The results were published on the official website of KSLU. Appeared candidates can view their results by following the below-mentioned steps:

1. Visit the official website of the University, www.kslu.ac.in

2. Click on the examination option from the top bar menu

3. Click on examination result to view results for the exams conducted in December

4. Select the course and semester from the given options

5. Enter the registration number and click on the submit button to view KSLU results

6. Results will appear on the screen, candidates can download the scorecard for further use

Note: Candidates can download the college-wise results by entering the college id at the time of submission.

KSLU Evaluation Process 2020

The University follows a semester pattern for both UG and PG programmes. The University monitors the performance of the students through continuous internal assessment tests, assignments, seminars, attendance, mid-semester examination and end-semester examination. The University also conducts practical examinations prior to the theory examinations. The project, seminar presentation and viva-voice are conducted and marked by external evaluators.

For LLB/ Five-year integrated LLB, the evaluation is based on the written examination and the participation of the students during project work, seminar presentation, viva-voice and tests.

For LLM programme, there are mainly two components of evaluation, including periodical evaluation throughout the semester and the end semester exams. Each component has 50 marks and the students are required to write a dissertation under the supervision of a teacher.

Minimum attendance rule for UG and PG programmes:

A candidate must secure at least 75% of attendance in the number of working days during the semester to be eligible for the external examination. A candidate who has obtained less than 65% but 55% and above attendance in any semester is required to compensate for the shortage of attendance in the subsequent semester. A candidate who has secured less than 55% of attendance in any semester shall not be allowed to appear for the regular examinations.

KSLU Revaluation Process 2020

KSLU allows students who are getting a fewer mark or fail mark in subjects to apply for revaluation. Revaluation process is available for all UG, PG and doctorate courses. Students can apply for the revaluation process within 15 days of the declaration of results.

Candidates need to fill an application form to apply for the revaluation process. KSLU application fee details for the revaluation process is mentioned below:

Note: Revaluation for LLM students is not available. LLM students can only apply for challenge valuation.

Follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for the revaluation process:

  1. Visit the official website of the University, www.kslu.ac.in
  2. Download the application form and fill it by entering required details
  3. Send the duly filled application form at the University office
  4. Pay the application fee through DD in favour of Registrar, Karnataka State Law University
