KVS Admissions 2020: How to check KVS admission application status online?

KVS Admission 2020 first merit list is out! Read further to know how to check online application status. 

KVS Class 1 admissions 2020: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan released the first merit list for class 1 admissions on Tuesday, i.e. August 11, 2020, on its official websites. Parents can check the KVS admission first merit list and application status of their wards online by logging onto its official website kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. A statement on the official website reads, “Parents can check the status of their applications in lotteries to be conducted for various admission categories by clicking on ‘Check Application Status’ tab from 6 am on August 12.”

This year, KVS decided to release the admission list on the basis of lottery that was broadcast on the YouTube and Facebook pages of each school.

Parents must not be disappointed if their child couldn’t make it to the first list. KVS second and third merit list will be released on August 24 and August 26, respectively, (only if seats are still vacant).

KVS Admission 2020 Application Status Online: Where and how to check

Step 1: Visit the official website at kvsangathan.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link scrolling on the top that reads ‘Click here for KVS online admission portal link’

Step 3: The link will be redirected to a new page at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in

Step 4: Navigate and click on the ‘Check Application Status’ link

Step 5: A login page will appear

Step 6: Key in your Login Code, date of birth, mobile number and the captcha code (as shown in the picture given below)

Step 7: Verify and submit the details

Step 8: Your application status will be displayed on the screen
