Life at SNPIT&RC: Embracing Challenges and Creating Memories
Stepping into the college:
I was admitted to Shree Sitarambhai Naranjibhai Patel Institute of Technology & Research Centre (SNPIT&RC) College in July 2023. The journey started with excitement and nervousness as I stepped into college life. When the first semester began, the college organized an induction program for freshers. In the induction program, students covered knowledgeable topics like traffic rules and safety, meditation, smoking as a silent killer, motivation, and English proficiency. I made many friends and networked with seniors. They were always ready to give support and guidance.
Freshers’ Party experience
In August, the college organized a freshers' party in the auditorium hall. At the event, a singer was invited to perform, and many other activities like ramp walk performances and Q&A were organized for freshers. The highlight of this event was to select Mr. and Miss Fresher by judges. After the event, we danced a lot and played Garba, which was a fantastic way to bond with new friends. In our college, Shree Sitarambhai Naranjibhai Patel Institute of Technology & Research Centre, every festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Navratri were some of the festivals that brought the entire college community together.
My First Year: A Blend of Knowledge and Fun
The college infrastructure is very nice. The campus is well-maintained. The faculty is well-educated, supportive, and has a friendly nature, which made the learning experience enjoyable. In January, we had our 1st-semester exam conducted by GTU. The faculty provided us with PYQ and their solution. The support we received from the faculty was really appreciable. My 2nd semester started in February. The results came out in April, and I was very happy with my grades. This success boosted my confidence and motivated me to work even harder in the next semesters. My 1st year experience was very nice and filled with learning.
At the beginning of the 2nd semester, the college organized a sports day. On that day, various games like Cricket, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Cycle Race, Chess, Carrom, etc. were organized. We enjoyed the day, and it was a great way to relieve stress and stay active.

Every participant in technical events received a participation certificate, and the winner got a cash prize and certificate. This was a national-level technical fest organized by our college. It was filled with learning and growth opportunities.
Now, I am stepping up to become a senior. I am in the 3rd semester, and my core subjects have started. The subjects are challenging but exciting. I scored good marks, which has set a solid kick for my academic journey.
Friendships have been the most significant aspects
Reflecting on my journey so far, I realized how much I have grown in my 1st year of college. One of the most significant aspects of my college life has been the friendships I have formed. These friends have provided support that has been crucial in navigating the ups and downs of my college life. I have made many memories with friends and enjoyed it a lot.
Looking forward, I am excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead in my remaining semesters. I am dedicated to making the most of my time to excel academically and learning new skills for personal growth.
