Roots of education are bitter but fruits you reap are sweet: Amit Kumar Mondal

Since childhood, I never had a liking for a particular subject. In later years, during my ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) education, I grew interest in two subjects namely accounting sums and entrepreneurship. After completing my Class 10^th board from ICSE, my teachers suggested me to opt for Commerce. I chose Commerce where I grew interest in Business Studies, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy. After completing my Class 12^th, I searched for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) colleges on various sites. On one such site, I found Eminent College of Management and Technology - ECMT. The college campus looked good and the course fee was much less. I was fascinated and contacted the concerned person of the college. After few days, I went to the college and met with Sandip Mukherjee, faculty of the BBA department. After an interaction of half an hour and observing the lush green campus, the infrastructure and the friendly atmosphere, I decided to take admission in Eminent College of Management & Technology. Since the college is under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University Of Technology, students need to appear for Common Entrance Test (CET). 

My Experience

The college offers career-oriented educational approach. They focus mainly on the student activities and try to maximise students’ performances. The faculties are friendly here. Besides everyday lessons, they conduct seminars, workshop, mock interviews, PowerPoint presentation, case studies and many other types of social and educational activities. This helps strengthen the core of a student. These types of activities help us to develop personality. It is a well-disciplined college here and attending the lecture is compulsory in order to sit for semester exams. The college also organises sports events such as football, volleyball, table tennis, tennis, chess, carrom, and food fest, etc., to keep the students physically and mentally fit. They try to provide placement to each and every student but cracking the interview solely depends on the student.

I would like to advise the students to study the course of your interest. Graduation is what defines our career and builds the foundation of our life. So, choose wisely. Always look forward towards your goals and try to achieve the highest possible limits. Always give your optimal performance.
