Q: What are the salient features of the teaching methodology adopted by your college? How does this differ from others?

A: Keeping in view the system improvements from others we are always applying our strategies which reflect as:

  • We use alumni as brand ambassadors for responding to students for their queries on online social forums and conduct small Alumni Connect with prospective students where alumna can resolve the queries or help them to get placement

“Alumni- The true advocates of your superiority in the service.”

  • Our institute uses social media and digital platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube including blogs and publishing articles regarding the achievement of students.
  • HIMT has consistently maintained an excellent recruitment record. The graduates and Postgraduates have been recruited by leading corporate.

Q: How are you preparing your students to be Industry ready?

A: We try and keep our faculty updated on the latest trends and fashion in the industry as faculty is the first point of contact for any student. We give open-ended tasks to complete rather than a traditional assignment or assessment to the students. We regularly conduct doubt sessions so students can get their conceptual as well as practical doubts cleared. This also helps in knowledge sharing and keeps all students on the same level, hence addressing individual learner’s concerns. Our keen interest is always to develop their future.

Q: What are the qualities you are looking for in student applicants? What qualities do they need to do well in your course?

A: The qualities/ characteristics represent the goals, accomplishments and morals of applicants. All institutes look for these qualities along with curiosity to pursue this career. Student applicants should be ambitious, curious, optimistic, grateful, elegant, and hard workers. Their qualities will help them to do well in their courses.

Q: How do you ensure that your course curriculum is up to date and meets industry requirements?

A: We constantly update our curriculum according to industry developments, we continuously research and take feedback from the industry experts on the changes in the industry which will be carefully reviewed by the Board of Studies and approved by an expert panel of the Academic Council. We conduct workshops, Seminars, Faculty Development programmes; Certification programmes on the latest technologies to upskill the students as well as the teachers.
