Placements: As per KLS GOGTE OF TECHNOLOGY, year by year, the highest-placed student was from the CS department and got a CTC of 58 LPA.
And the average package in GIT almost goes up to 9 to 10 LPA. The top recruiters on campus are TCS, Mercedes, Tata, Adobe, Amazon, Wipro, and Palo Alto.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at KLS GOGTE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is quite commendable. The college has modern facilities and well-equipped labs for academic purposes. The campus encompasses advanced classrooms, spacious rooms and well-stocked libraries for the students. Regarding hostels, they typically provide decent rooms with attached bathrooms for students. Best college in Belgaum for placements and skill oriented learning.
Placements: The highest package was 50 LPA for 2022–23 from Palo-Alto to the CSE and ISE branches. From the 6th semester onward, students are eligible for placements. The average was around 10 LPA. Most of the students placed here are from the CSE, ISE, ECE and EEE branches. Companies like TCS, Wipro and Benz visit campus for placements.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. There is a main building for regular classes, CSE, and ISE Aeronautics and mechanical departments are built individually. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. The library has all the necessary academic and non-academic books. There are new hostel rooms built recently with a yearly budget of around 33000 rupees. Hostel mess food is average. Sports facilities are available all the time. There is a field on the back side of campus.
Faculty: The teachers here are very experienced and dedicated to teaching. All the syllabus is covered nicely. There are two internals and one semester. All the courses here have many useful electives and emerging technology-related topics. The course curriculum matches the new age of technology.
Other: CSE and ISE are two of the most demanding courses here. There are many other relevant clubs to join. Regular hackathons and competitions take place every year. 'Aura' is the cultural fest and 'Avalanche' is the technical fest celebrated every year. Many entrepreneurs come to the campus to motivate students to start their own businesses. Scholarships are available to some financially disadvantaged students.

It's a good college with a great placement record and good reputation.
Placements: About 1000 students were placed; the highest package offered was of 50 LPA by Palo alto network in 2023. A very large number of students received internships. Companies like Mercedes, TCS, Jio, Accenture, etc. visit our campus. Roles like manager, project manager, tester, and developer are very common. There are few high-design roles, too.
Infrastructure: Facilities like WI-Fi, labs, and classrooms are all very well maintained; the library is huge and students get free books. In the library, there are also computer sensors, a reading room and an e-book centre. Hostel facilities also have good filters set up. It has its own canteen. There are many sports activities there; it has its own football field, basketball court and indoor sports.
Faculty: The teachers here are Ph.D. holders. Few have a vast experience of 20 years or more. They teach very well. The course curriculum is very relevant and it ensures the students are industry-ready. There are two internal examinations and one semester-end examination. The level of difficulty is normal. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: This course has better future opportunities. This course has a wide scope. The course is designed perfectly, and there is hardly anything to amend. The events here are huge, with good connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities.

A college which focuses on placements.
Placements: Our batch placement has not started yet, but I have seen my previous batch placements and I assume that this college has the best placement service. The highest CTC has been 22 LPA which is very good in a place like Belagavi. The average CTC has been around 6-7 LPA, and the college is getting more than 1000 plus offers every year.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-fi facility at most of the places. The library has good amount of variety of books, and library management app. The labs, computer systems are above average. But there needs to be little improvement on hostel facility and sports department etc.
Faculty: As the institution is autonomous, the syllabus is designed in such a way that it meets the industry requirement. The semester exams are very easy to crack. Talking about the teaching quality, there are some professors who are really good and dedicated towards students, but very few are not caring about students.

Detailed review of GIT college and hostel!
Placements: The highest is 22 LPA this year for B.Tech in CSE, whereas it was 16 LPA last year, and the lowest was 6 Lacs. This year, there are about 850 offers for the 2024 batch by top companies like Amazon, Vistron, Mahindra, etc. The offers for last year's batch were 1200. For M.Tech in CSE, one student got a 30+ LPA offer.
Infrastructure: You will get Wi-Fi and RO water facilities on all floors of the boys' hostel and college. The classrooms are clean and equipped with projectors, and each class has conditioned labs. Hostel rooms are shared by three students and are furnished with a bed, a table, and a chair. Each room also has a large locker.
Faculty: The semester-end exams are a little harder compared to IAS exams. The faculty members here are helpful to students and very experienced. You should maintain a 70% attendance to become eligible for exams. There are three exams conducted by GIT: IA 1, IA 2, and CONDUCTED. IA 1 is at an easy level, while the others are harder.
Other: The campus looks a little old and unattractive to some, but it is fine for me. There is no ragging in the campus.
