The admission process is very simple. No coaching is required for admission to SSSSMV. No entrance exam is conducted for any of the course available at SSSMV. Students just need to fill in an application form and submit it in the college and based on the applications received a merit list is released.

After scoring 92.4% in my Xth examinations and because of my keen interest in Mathematics and Science I decided to choose PCM. Like every other Science student, I also started preparing for JEE and other engineering entrance exams. I appeared for JEE in 2018. My score was not much high but I managed to get a seat in JUET, Guna. I decided to drop a year in order to reappear for JEE after analyzing my mistakes. Finally, I managed to grab a seat in R.V.C.E Bangalore. Apart from my bachelor’s I always wanted to pursue my masters from a B-school. Due to some issues, I failed to get admission in R.V.C.E. So I decided to opt for BBA course at SSSSMV.

I was more focused on pursuing MBA so decided to opt for BBA instead of pursuing BTech. There is no criteria of attendance required here so I decided to enroll myself in SSSSMV. I dropped a year to prepare for JEE and other engineering examinations. I had almost completed the admission process for pursuing EEE from R.V College of Engineering (Bangalore) but due to some issues, I had to switch my field. So instead of pursuing BTech, I enrolled in a 3-year BBA program at Swami Shri Swaroopanand Saraswati Mahavidyalaya, Bhilai.

The admission process is very simple. No coaching is required for admission to SSSSMV. No entrance exam is conducted for any of the course available at SSSMV. Students just need to fill in an application form and submit it in the college and based on the applications received a merit list is released. Most students get their desired courses. Students having 60-65% marks in their 12th boards are eligible for getting admission in BBA course.

Initially, I had no plans of doing my BBA so I didn’t look for any college and enrolled myself in a local college where there was no issue regarding attendance.

As a fresher, I literally had no idea about how my first day at college would be and being new to commerce stream I was a little scared about all the new things I would have to tackle. In the first year, Mathematics, English, Management Studies, Computers and Accounts were my subjects. Initially, understanding accounts seemed to be a herculean task but as the days passed by I started liking this subject. As the days passed I used to only attend the accounts classes and managed the rest of the subjects by myself.

I was always fond of sports. I even wanted to play basketball and football for my college team but no proper college team was formed due to students' lack of interest. But our college has still managed to win some tournaments. Apart from sports, there are no such clubs in the college but various activities are organized from time to time. Most of the time these activities are related to academics so the participation remains limited.

Even though I was never a tech geek but If given a chance I’d like to learn computer languages, data structures and make a career as an engineer before pursuing MBA. Apart from it, I would like to learn music professionally and start my own college band.

The college has made me push my limits by working hard to make a successful career. Though most of the students in the college aren’t serious about their future the hard work of some students motivates me a lot. Some students in college are really talented and being around them makes me feel nice.
