Good or bad? Prioritise your factors before going to upes Dehradun.
Placements: The placement is not that great I would say, here are the few points to consider: 1- The job profile offered by the companies are mostly of Sales (cold calling) 2- offered package ranges from 2.4 LPA to 4 LPA. 3- Internships are easily available. 4- Do not fall for the percentage of students placed, because they'll try to push you for low paying jobs also.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of upes is top notch in general. You won't find any infrastructural or technological lacking in terms of programme delivery or learning experience. Library and labs are very good. Staff is supportive. The food is fine, and the hostel beds and other amenities are good.
Faculty: Curriculum is well designed but the faculty is not very good. They are mostly book worms and do no allow scope for industry learning. Exams are conducted every semester along with project work and continuous evaluation assessment. The difficulty level of exams and assessment are moderate.
Other: I had many expectations from this course, like, Industry relevant learning, better placements and good crowd. Fests are really very good, along with the picturesque views from the campus.

The college provides good placements to students.
Placements: The total number of students in this course is around 60. The top recruiting companies come here to offer placements and internships to students. The faculty guide us about the recruitment process on campus.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure and very good. It has proper facilities for students in the college and also in the hostel. The hostel has a common room with a TV. The rooms are clean.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and well qualified to teach students. We didn't have any industrial projects because of Covid-19. The teachers of our college design exam papers based on the concepts they teach in the class.
Other: I chose this course to learn more about foreign trade and get good placements provided by the college. I don't want to improve anything in the course as everything is perfect for learning. We get scholarships. Events are held here.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities and provides good study environment.
Placements: Placements are average in this college. I have not heard any of my seniors getting placement above 5 LPA - 6 LPA for our course. The average placement for MBA in International Business too is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The companies for summer internships that approach UPES are also not up to the mark. If you are a middle-class student who values money, this college might be expensive. However, I have got scholarships such as Uttarakhand Domiciles and Girl Child Scholarship. Also, I am the topper of our batch so I got 20% of the tuition fee which would be adjusted in my fee. We are getting issues with the role. We are foreign trade students but we are receiving roles such as sales and marketing. However, UPES ensures placements for everyone who applies for it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. All the facilities are provided. It is a Wi-Fi-enabled campus and air-conditioned rooms. The library on campus is well-equipped technically. Food in the mess is not up to the mark. The canteen food is good. Sports and games are also held at a huge level.
Faculty: All the teachers in this college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. The teaching quality is excellent. The students become industry-ready. It is not difficult to pass the exams if one attends all the classes. However, attendance is mandatory.
Other: Overall, this university is good. It is upto students how they mould themselves. There are many opportunities that are there for industry ready individuals. So prepare yourself for that.

I am satisfied with all the facilities.
Placements: 99% of students were placed in the course. The highest package offered in the course is 29 LPA, and the average package offered in the course is 14 LPA. 510+ recruiting companies showed up. 99% of students got internships from the course.
Infrastructure: All the facilities required to study are available without any issue. Hostel facilities are good, and the food quality is not so bad. Medical facilities are available 24*7. They have coaches and trainers for physical fitness who help us a lot.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and helpful. They have the right knowledge of the course. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate.

A bit disappointed with the placements as very few domain-related companies come here.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placed in the batch. 11 LPA is the highest package offered, and 2.5 LPA is the lowest package offered. Lido learning and cloud analogy are taught here. Companies that offered internships were mostly domain-related, i.e., export and import houses. Top roles offered were sales assistance, business development managers etc. There were a few domain-related companies for placements as well.
Infrastructure: Every possible and reasonable facility is available on campus and hostels. The whole campus is Wi-Fi-enabled, and the classrooms are well-equipped. The quality of food in hostels is superior, and the campus has 2 different food courts with many options to eat. Medical help is available 24*7 on campus. There is a proper system deployed for issuing sports equipment, and the campus has a well-equipped gym.
Faculty: The teaching quality is great, and the teachers have their respective domain experience. The teachers are cooperative and helpful at every stage in the course. Teachers follow the course curriculum, and if students give negative feedback, the teachers can be substituted. The course is well-designed and exceptionally domain-specific while covering basics in the first year. The course exposes students to industry, and it also includes industrial visits to Mumbai Port (in the batch of 2018-2021).
Other: BBA in foreign trade gives you exposure to international business, and the best thing about this course is it is domain-specific. Almost every week, there are events conducted on campus. There are many committees and clubs to join. There are 3 major fests in a year. The campus also has an incubation center.

Private hostel has their own rules. And it will be good if you are staying in these private hostel. And also, it will not be safe if you will be out from the hostel after 9 or 10 (It is obvious because UPES has forest around it). And that's why all hostel in Bidholi and Kandoli don't allow students
